Pieology Pizzeria Thousand Oaks

Wanted to try this pizza place tonight and arrived at 7:15. The open sign was turned off and the doors were locked. We could see two people eating inside and two employees. I checked the times online and it showed they were open until 9pm. I decided to call and see if they had closed early or if their hours had changed. A girl answered the phone and when I asked if they were closed she said No we are opened. When I said we had tried to come in and the door was locked her response was “Someone is getting ready to leave and you can come in then”. Seriously?! There was only two customers there eating inside. The employee I spoke to could’ve cared less if the door was locked or not. Clearly they didn’t want to work so they locked the doors and her answer was we could come in when the other two customers left. This place definitely needs new management and new employees or needs to train and educate their current employees better otherwise they won’t be in business much longer.
We ended up going elsewhere.

The flavor was really good but they refuse to put on enough toppings. I asked for more cheese and was told no. I would have paid extra if need be but was just told no. Also, they guy working was quite odd. He was putting all the chairs away and cleaning relentlessly as we were there. It was like 6pm and no one else was even there. I will probably go there again but only if someone else is working there.

Everytime I come here with my kids, they there's always something with this place. First they changed the time from 9:30 to 11:00. Then today, they removed the sign with their hours of operation. Also when they opened at 11, their employee told us that they just turned on the oven and that there is a bout a 30 minute waiting period. There a couple of us waiting, we all left. So disappointed with this place.

If you're craving food poisoning and undercooked pizza, come here. Not sure if other locations are the same, this is my first and will probably be my only experience ordering from this restaurant.

The staff is unfriendly. They do not have anything labeled. They have less of a selection compared to other pieology stores.

Clean establishment, honestly, i was a bit worried by the 3.4 rating and the bad service reviews, but man, was i wrong. These low reviews seem to be trolls. It was the first time i been ask if I wanted the basil before or after which I never thought about. The attention to detail to me qualified for an awesome service.

While they're published hours say that they are open until 11:00 p.m. on weeknights, they would not take my order as a walk-in at 10:45 p.m. on a Monday night. The teenage worker said that their oven stops working at around 10:40 p.m. Sounds like they should change their published hours to "10:30 PM" or perhaps manage the teenage workers a little closer when they try to close early.

Will never come back to Pieology! Stingy service. Worker "We charge $1 toppings and $2 for extra meat." Scoop were small and barely covered the pizza, didn't even look like a normal typical topping amount! Pathetic.

Wanted to get a Pizza and everything was extra! To get enough cheese to cover the pizza was a $1 extra per scoop and they wanted 2 scoops, for the Pepperoni I was told that they are only 12 pieces and if I wanted more then it was a Dollar more and asked for Jalapenos and asked for more was told it was a Dollar more! So for this Pizza for one would be almost $20, so I walked out! They said it was a corporate decision not theirs! Was so much better earlier this year and last year! Now too expensive and not worth the money!

Server was rude. He made my friends pizza with more cheese and I asked if I could get more and he says it’s extra. I asked if he could match the same level of cheese as the other pizza and after some attitude complied, as he realized his scoops are inconsistent. Would prefer to go to blaze pizza any day of the week. Walked in at 1:10 and the store was empty. Understandably. Also why is a build your own pizza costing more for other toppings? Shouldn’t it be one price for the whole pizza if it’s a build your own

I placed an order for a pizza, but it took an extended period, so I approached the cashier, who quickly prepared my pizza Because she forgot to make it.. This was after I had already been waiting for 15 minutes. Unfortunately, there was no apology, only an offer of a drink, When I got home and opened the box the pizza was carelessly prepared,it had barely any toppings, was cold and didn't taste very good I didn't even eat it... Not a very good experience. This was my first time at Pieology, and I doubt I will be back.

Nice place, decorated with is what usually call words of wisdom ?!
Pizza ? is absolutely good, flavors to choose from, specially the fact that one is able to order a vegetarian or Vegan ?!! Absolutely have not? gone?? to a ? place yet where ? one can ? taste ? how good the flavor? of a plant ? base pizza can be ! ! ! ????! ! ! Very delicious! The thin cauliflower crust made it a delightful ' thing', telling me : ' EAT ME ? YOU WILL LIKE ME'........
