They used to have a covered outdoor patio but that got taken down but it looks like the place was remodeled recently because I don't remember it looking like this the first time. We visited during the pandemic as our first time and this was our second time back. We were greeted and the lady at the cash register was very friendly and pleasant. I didn't know if I should get the torta or a burrito. I always get a burrito so I decided to opt for the torta this time; it was a good choice. They loaded the torta up with fresh ingredients, including fresh cheese, and avocado, and they have the grilled onions on the side, which were delicious addition with a little bit of chips. I got horchata to drink, and it was very tasty. Perfect mixture. Overall, the establishment was very clean and there was plenty of sauces and sides to complement the dishes. The dishes or bag, and I would've loved for my boyfriend to share my torta, but he was too hungry and the food was too good. The customer service was top-notch and we would definitely return again.

Some of the best tacos in the area, the meat is always moist and well seasoned; their quesa-birria tacos are really great. Service is fast and the staff very friendly and accommodating though some of their tacos, like lengua, are frustratingly available on their food truck but not their brick and mortar location. Same for the guacamole, which is really great but not available on the truck always. It's a great little pit stop and place to hang for a bit.

Tried this place for the first time and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, fresh, and authentic. The service was fast and the restaurant is extremely clean and well kept. This will be my new spot.

Was excited to try this spot and maybe we just came on an off day, however the wait was simply ridiculous for 2 burritos. The receipt had the time of order and it was 29 minutes before we got our food. The burrito itself was good, not remarkable, but because of the wait I can't say I'll be back in a hurry.

I've been eyeing this spot for our next take out night and tonight we decided to check it out. We of course had to try their queso birria tacos everyone mentions and man did they not disappoint. They were absolutely delicious and I loved the little cup of au jus its served with to dip the tacos in, it just added that little extra that was perfect. We also got the carnitas burrito and I have to say man was it flavorful with a nice little kick in there from the jalapeño. My husband actually preferred the burrito. When I went to pick the food up it was super clean inside and the guy who helped me was super nice as well. 100% will be ordering from here again in the near future! Tip: they only can take tips in cash so bring a few bucks to show some love.

Restaurant gives off a family owned vibe, which is awesome. Customer service was good, staff friendly. Some of the best birria quesa tacos in the area at a very reasonable price ($4 a taco is really good in 2023). Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant experience, who also wants to support a hidden gem in Thousand Oaks.

Torta y birria tacos muy bueno. I tried their torta and birria tacos, my favorite salsa was the green salsa. I can't wait to come back and try their pozole and other menu items. They are a very friendly family owned business. Give them a try.

Food was delicious! Had the birria tacos with rice and bean. You know it's good when the food reminds you of your grandma's cooking. The staff were welcoming and the service was great! The restaurant itself had a beautiful mural and I definitely felt like I was in an authentic Mexican restaurant.

The birria tacos are delicious, only the fresh ones have too much sugar.

This spot is out of this world. Their quesabirria tacos are beyond. They also have a taco truck down in Oxnard, but I’ll be honest, it is not the same as the cooks that are in the restaurant location. The restaurant location has no faults and their flavors in their food are top notch. You won’t regret coming here!! Family owned business, the woman that it’s named after is so wonderful and extremely accommodating. Her sons are also very nice gentlemen.Parking: It depends which day and time you’re going. There are many locations in this small parking lot so it can be difficult to find parking, but I’ve noticed the earlier we go the easier it is

I've only ever gotten takeout quesabirria tacos from here, but damn are they good. My husband says the other stuff he's gotten is good too. Definitely recommend.
