Rise Southern Biscuits Righteous Chicken

Don't like kiosk orders and they don't take cash. And no, I'm not old. 😄

I’ll start by saying this is a California take on southern food. This is def not run by someone from the south. It’s good, but to any southerner looking for southern food this is not the place. These aren’t biscuits and that’s certainly not gravy.

The sandwiches are somewhat underwhelming. Everything was okay, at least good enough to warrant me trying it a second time. The sandwiches seemed better than a Chick-fil-A, but not by much. The southern chicken sandwich with pimento cheese actually had a reasonable amount of cheese spread on it, when I got a similar sandwich from Chick-fil-A, it had a teaspoon of the cheese on it (not exaggerating, you can see my review of Chick-fil-A with an image of the sandwich as sold to me versus what they advertise…it was embarrassing that they could let a sandwich out the door that was that pathetic). I also got the Rise Nashville hot chicken sandwich, it was alright. The spices were not noteworthy, but I enjoyed eating it. Overall, there was nothing amazing about the place, if you want a great chicken sandwich you need to go somewhere like Dave’s Hot Chicken or Main Chick Hot Chicken, etc. If you want something better than the Carls Jrs and Chick-fil-As of the world, you can come here.

Food is overpriced. Had breakfast there recently and spent $70. For that price, I'd rather eat at a sit down restaurant, or somewhere that offered more than just sandwiches.

The biscuits were so good! We ate lunch here and it was yummy! It’s very filling too.
You self order and they bring it to your table or you can take it to go.
I had the Egg, cheese and bacon sandwich and I really liked it. My husband ordered the Chicken sandwich on the Brioche bun and he enjoyed that too.
It’s all tasty, but it is pretty filling. The restaurant is clean and there’s outside seating.

I love going in here. It smells delicious. I could never decide what I want. I want it all today. I’m having some sweet stuff to go with my sweet tooth my husband is having some chicken. I love this place don’t ever ever go away. Love that chicken love that chicken from rise

I’m from the south and these are the best biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Addictive and highly recommended!

This spot is so fire the every item on the menu is really good. It definitely makes you fall. It is a little bit expensive but it’s definitely worth it. The only thing I don’t recommend is getting some extra extra honey for the biscuit but other than that, it’s fantastic.
