I’ll start by saying this is a California take on southern food. This is def not run by someone from the south. It’s good, but to any southerner looking for southern food this is not the place. These aren’t biscuits and that’s certainly not gravy.
The sandwiches are somewhat underwhelming. Everything was okay, at least good enough to warrant me trying it a second time. The sandwiches seemed better than a Chick-fil-A, but not by much. The southern chicken sandwich with pimento cheese actually had a reasonable amount of cheese spread on it, when I got a similar sandwich from Chick-fil-A, it had a teaspoon of the cheese on it (not exaggerating, you can see my review of Chick-fil-A with an image of the sandwich as sold to...
The biscuits were so good! We ate lunch here and it was yummy! It’s very filling too.
You self order and they bring it to your table or you can take it to go.
I had the Egg, cheese and bacon sandwich and I really liked it. My husband ordered the Chicken sandwich on the Brioche bun and he enjoyed that too.
It’s all tasty, but it is pretty filling. The restaurant is clean and there’s outside seating.
