Oh my...this place is so good. Italian with the home made dressing is unbelievable. Chicken parm is a great choice if you are going hot sub. I finally found a good sandwich place in Thousand Oaks.

This is a REAL Italian deli! I had the L’Italiano (Mortadella, Capicollo, Salame Cotto, Genoa Salame, Provolone Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Italian Dressing). It was exceptional. My girl had the Caprese and prosciutto sandwich. Equally awesome. Rita was so nice. I highly recommend you try it.

Ritas food was superb. I had Rita cater the food for my 65 birthday party. It was set for 20 people but 22 showed up. I worried there would nt be enough but it was plenty. She delivered on time and set up the food and even let us borrow some chaffing dishes. The lasagna, chicken picatta, short ribs, grilled veggies were all perrfect. Even the canolies pistachio and chochlate were to die for. I recomend Rita for italian food.

I was looking for good Italian pastries for my wedding. My mom and I stopped in one day and picked up a box for an occasion and fell in love. My husband and I's families are both Italians from the east coast, they take their pastries seriously. All of them said these pastries tasted like the ones they grew up with! Love love love the farmer's market here!!! There are so many different varieties of food, fruits, juices, crafts all in one location! A definite Mecca for tourists. There is all day pkg available for $3 or you can do 1 hr meter parking. SO many samples to taste you will leave here feeling full and satisfied. You might think you can escape here without paying for any food, but you won't be able to resist!!!!

Of all the things in my wedding, food is by far my #1 priority, that's why I decided to use an AUTHENTIC italian catering company! My family lives in the Conejo Valley so we were looking for a venue in the Malibu/ Santa Monica Mountains area. But when we talked to Rita, the owner. She suggested to schedule a visit of the Westlake Yacht Club in Westlake Village: we immediately fell in love with the breathtaking view of the Westlake Lake from its huge patio! But even the view has been overshadowed by the amazing food served that night! The huge menu selection left us totally speechless! My wife has italian origins and she was shocked to find italian specialties extremely rare in the US! I'll let you imagine when her mother, a Marche region native, realizes, Rita prepared "Olive Ascolana", the most famous specialty food of that area! The menu needs to be shared: The antipasti buffet was an italian cold cuts (parma prosciutto, mortadella, bresaola and salami) and cheeses (parmigiano cheese, burrata, romano cheese, provolone cheese) triumph, all combined with olives, marinated artichokes, honey, jam and focaccia bread! That night, all the hot food was preparad by a neapolitan chef, Salvatore, and let me say, we are still gushing about his fried foods and pasta dishes! The mixed fried foods were to die for: - Olive ascolana: basically, they are fried meat-stuffed green olives. - Supplì: it consists of a ball of rice (but Salvatore used quinoa, orzo and farro too) with tomato sauce and raw egg. - Potato croquettes and deep fried pieces of vegetables. Antipasti selection comprises also three types of quiche (they called it "rustico"), a caprese platter, prosciutto- wrapped melon and figs platters and a selection of Rita's homemade tapenades crostini, her undoubted forte! Also the main buffet was beyond all of our expectations: People loved to see the homemade ravioli sauteed on a butter and sage condiment right in front of us! Everyone took tons of pictures of it! But also Filet Mignon on a Merlot sauce and Branzino were big hits! Not to mention the dessert buffet! Mini desserts (tiramisu, panna cotta, cheesecakes, zuppa inglese...), italian pastries, a huge fruit platter and chocolate dipped strawberries: everything went so quickly! Our guests are still commenting to us how they've never imagined having such great food at a wedding! Everything, from the venue, to the food quality and presentation, the attention to detail and the great staff, was absolutely PERFECT! Thank you Rita!
