A great place to wind down the day with awesome food and great service. Due to the popularity of this place, there’s usually a wait to get a table, typically under 6 minutes, a table will be ready. New patrons are welcomed by the manager who brings freshly made chips that come with jalapeños and butter.

TUESDAY FOOD REVIEW...LAZY DOG (again)...11/28/23! Before our haircuts, we stopped at Lazy Dog for lunch. We split their uber yummy Bacon Candy, which is bacon baked with brown sugar, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Then I had my usual, their Baja California Burger, which is a grilled half pound beef patty, guacamole, hatch chiles, jack cheese, roasted jalapeno-lime aioli, red onion, and lettuce. I had the pickles on the side, and also my tomatoes, which I had grilled on the side. For my side order choice, I got their pickled cucumber salad. This burger is, BAR NONE, the BEST burger ever!!!! When you take a bite, right off the bat, you taste all that is on the burger, which, for me, is a wonderful thing!!! I come to Lazy Dog just to have this burger, and it never disappoints!!!!

This was a great spot for a family dinner before we left for the LAX airport. We were seated immediately by a friendly and professional wait staff. I had never been to this restaurant before but it was a good sign that it was very busy and the patrons appeared to be enjoying their meals. We ordered drinks and they were delivered pretty promptly. I had the club sandwich, that was loaded with chicken breast, bacon and avocado. They coated french fries were very tasty. I couldn't eat the entire sandwich and got a "to go" box to eat it on the airplane on the ride home. My wife had the Kung bowl and it looked delicious! It had a hearty amount of chicken, bell peppers, peanuts, water chestnuts and onions over a bed of fresh white rice. She didn't need a "to go" box like I did! My daughter had the 1/2 salad 1/2 friend chicken sandwich combo and she totally cleaned her plate. The wait staff did a great job answering our questions about the menu and refilling our drinks. I liked the little handheld device that dropped off at the table that allowed us to swipe our card and pay our check immediately so we could get on the road to the airport. I enjoyed the dining experience, the atmosphere and the food immensely and look forward to dining at the Lazy Dog again the next time we are in Thousand Oaks!

We are staying at The Best Western and by passed the Italian restaurant on site. Was referred to Lazy Dog. Happy hour was a bonus with cheaper drinks and side dishes. Thankyou for the parmesan chips on the house. Would highly recommend. Michelle and Kelvin

Decided to try this location while walking through the mall. Service seemed to be a bit slow not sure if FOH OR BOH was the guilty one. Food was average for the burger and Hot dog we ordered. Restaurant was clean and well taken care of.

This is a chanced upon place. Great staff, great food and just a wonderful find. Small family corp, about 10 restaurants, CA, NV and AZ. If you're on the left Coast check them out.

Welcoming smiles by all...great service...and LOTS of yummy food. We had the signature dog ...it came loaded with scads of fries and a generous scattering of waffle chips. It all comes with a choice of homemade sauces...and on going great service. You can't go wrong with this Lazy Dog.

Had the wings. Horrible. Just awful tasting, not properly cooked, and pure YUCK. Threw most of them away. Didn't even delivered sauce as ordered, which might have helped. DO NOT waste your money on this garbage.

Food was never great but they did have a few items that were interesting and tasty. Those are no longer on the menu and what there was over priced and underwhelming, Service is good but food not worth the rather high prices.e

We have been going to the TO Mall for years and have never stopped to eat at Lazy Dog. We did this week. Sat at the bar and had A+ customer service from the two gals working the bar. Passion ice tea was perfect, large cold glass and many refills. My husband got the hamburger and onion rings ( which are really really good). He rated it an A. Liked the meat and the quality of the bun. I ordered half a sandwich, Club and a Caesar salad. The salad was like a full size. One of the best I have had. Cold, romaine was fresh and crispy and the dressing was really good. We will be back. Prices are good.

As usual when I travel I sat at the bar. Was not very crowded and was quickly greeted. Crystal my server was very professional and helpful. The Wok bowl with chicken was great. Crystal suggested adding some veggies to Sweet and Spicy that really added to the flavor. Great place with good vibe even though it’s attached to a mall. Wish they had one in MD where I live. The Huckleberry Haze was exceptional!

My daughter and I were seated right away. Server was there quickly, and our drinks came right away. Our food also came quickly. However, we had to ask for silverware and napkins. The problem was with my chicken tortilla soup. It was absolutely disgusting and didn't even resemble soup. It was more like a chunky chicken stew, which would have been fine if I had ordered stew. It did not look anything like the picture of the soup on their website (which actually looks like soup). So nasty that I couldn't eat it. I should have taken a photo, but I didn't think to do that.

Food, Energy and Location was just perfect! We had Carmelized Brussel Sprouts, Caesar Salad and Veggie Burger and it was all very good. The bartender was knowledgeable and helpful.

We order "to go" through Uber Eats here frequently and I thought I would write a review for everyone to know that their burgers are fabulous! Our favorite place to get a burger in town was Red Robin and since they shut down we had to find a new place. Now granted, we are very picky about our burgers: (1) We like them cooked the way we order them (2) we want a patty that fits the bun (not smaller, which some places tend to do) (3) we want our patty juicy, fresh tasting and made with choice/high quality meat and (4)we want toppings that are fresh and plentiful. French fries have to be crispy (not soggy) and need to be HOT, not warm. We found our new favorite place for burgers here at Lazy Dog! They have consistently hit the mark on all these standards the last 3 times we ordered through Uber Eats. Please understand that we actually go to pick up our Uber Eats order. We prefer it this way because we want to be assured that our food is hot when we eat it and many times delivery brings us a warm meal, when we prefer it to be hot (HOT food hot, COLD food cold-I was a waitress at a time in my life and this is what I was trained to think of when serving food. It has now become standard when dining out). The Uber Eats app tells us when our order should be ready for pick up and Lazy Dog has always been on time. Pick up there is super easy. You go into the front and tell the hostess you are there to pick up your Uber Eats order. You then go outside to wait for it to be brought out to you, which is in a matter of minutes. It makes for an easy dinner for us.
