This is the most delicious and authentic Mexican food in all of Conejo Valley. The prices are absolutely unbeatable and the food is unbelievably fresh. I'm pretty sure it is family owned (which I love) so of course the service is great. The first time I tried it I got takeout and they did a great job packing it up. The second time I ate there and it was delicious. 10/10 recommend

Based on a Jackie Diaz review on Nextdoor, we HAD to try Serai Bakery Panaderia TONIGHT!!! Past our normal dinner hour, but purchased pan dulce (pastries) and chicken soup. This was, by far, THE BEST soup in the area, with a choice of beef, chicken or seafood. The pan dulce churro was filled with Carmel de leche and our 18-year-old grandson selected several other bakery items and is gleefully indulging. It's in Thousand Oaks very close, convenient, open for many hours of the day, and ever so reasonably priced. Until today, I thought of it as a bakery and tamale shop. Now it's our go-to place. Thank you, Jackie Diaz!! You should be given a raise!!

Someone recommended this place, and they weren’t wrong. The bakery itself is very good, tried their pan con chicharrón and that was amazing. They have plenty of food options even at early hours. Their bread was very delicious as well. Plenty of parking, very friendly staff.

If you are patient enough to know what this business is about, you will understand why you would complain, if at least it helps us here in the USA by speaking our language (Spanish) the food and customer service is good. For my part, I would like to see card payment in the future, since it is only cash payment...

Every year my family gathers to cut the Rosca. This year we bought ours at Sarai and it was so disappointing. It's hard and stale. With no date indicating when it was made. It was frustrating that they're resolution was for us to bring it back to the store so that the owner could see. The point of me calling was to let them know so they could double check the other roscas they have for sale. Clearly customer satisfaction is not a priority.

Good tacos ?. That bread that has some flour when it is already cooked is the best "bolillo".

This place honestly went from being my go to spot to not even want to return. Every Saturday I place the same order over the phone and I get the same rude service. When I arrive I give the name of the order I pick up and it's not even made. Then they ask me for the name of the order then proceed to ask me what was the order? I'm confused because why take an order over the phone and not have it ready upon arrival? It's always an issue with the cashiers that run the front it's as almost like they don't want to work and based on my recent visits but today, today really did it. Placed order over the phone and of course same result except this time my order that contained pork fillings inside of a bolio wasn't even placed in a plastic bag to avoid cross contamination with the counter etc etc. the girl grabs it and just tosses it on the counter and the bolio touching the counter and as I got to pick it up it' wasn't even warmed up. I could've had a reaction but it's not worth it. She just looks at me. If the owner gets to read this I have some advice. Fire your entire front counter staff they're all incompetent. You have a great selection of food but when it comes to your front staff they are useless. Can't even take a simple phone order let alone have the food properly packed.

Rustic. Quaint. Best Mexican food. Old school favorites. Tamales are the best. Order early for the holidays. Cash Only!

Came by this combination bakery and taco shop on TO Blvd and decided to try it out. The interior is large and has a lot of seating. It was pretty full on a weekday evening. Service was very friendly but extremely slow and it took a long time for the food to come out. There's a self serve salsa bar although they are a bit skimpy on the sauce places. We got six tacos and a beef soup. The beef soup was an unexpected favorite. The serving was a quart for 13.99 and came with strong flavors and packed with veggies and meat. The tacos were tasty but didn't really stand out. They were generously sized but also a bit pricey so it evened out. The meats were tender but a little under seasoned. Definitely worth a stop.

If you want to try the most authentic , delicious plates and tacos in town, look no further. This place is amazing. The service is authentic , and by that I mean not many employees speak much English which may impact the flow of customers. Nonetheless , you can get by with whatever your level of English. Ambience is a relaxing , homey vibe. I recommend these tacos over any other taco place in town.

We found this place when we were looking for a place to have our breakfast after dropping our car at Toyota for a check up. We ordered their breakfast burritos and they were surprisingly delicious. We liked their tortillas being thinner. Cash only.

Upon entering the taco shop, I was initially taken aback by its unconventional layout and unappealing design. However, as they say, don't judge a book by its cover! The tacos, although not outstanding, were decent, but lacked that wow factor. The fillings were average, and the toppings were nothing to write home about. If you're looking for a laid-back spot to grab a quick bite, this taco shop might be worth a visit. Just don't expect gourmet tacos or a visually stunning environment.
