Number one: I asked for a separate sauce, and they asked for more money. It's my first time in 50 years.
Second: The who ever oder can't communicate in English.

Poor customer service… asked for a sauce on the side because we didn’t want to have it on top of the chicken plate and wanted to get charged $0.50 for the side. I explained that we don’t want it on top because we have a baby and I trying to share the food with him so instead of putting the sauce on top just give us on side and they kept arguing and asking for money. Worse customer service I have ever seen. Never going back again!

Used to be a good place to eat in the mall until they just fell off the face of the Earth and didn't even tell their employees.They're doing some scammy restructuring scheme just so corporate doesn't have to lose any money.

I had not visited the place for a long time...apart from the fact that the prices increased which I understand the portions are much smaller for more cost, I ordered extra chicken which was a little more than 2dls but since I wanted them to put it in my plate but in a small container they told me that only if I wanted it on the plate 4oz would it cost that if they put it aside it would be more than 4dls ?? what difference did it make if it is supposed to be the same amount of chicken ?? ..anyway I don't think the miniature box cost more than 2dls.

Mall - Food court 3.5 stars ! Fast food – but prepared right in front of you The portion size for the price is acceptable – if you are hungry upgrade I opt for vegetables only Always very tasty Recommended

Always a go to when at the Oaks with the teriyaki chicken, portions are very big and super filling.

Prices have gone UP service is bad employees are or get upset if you request special order or deny your request for extra sauceUsed to come here 3 times per week every week after everything started going down hill once per month and now after today Perhaps 1 per year.

Sarku has been my favorite for many years now. Unfortunately they don't have a location in the valley so I have to wait to visit Bakersfield to enjoy their tasty and amazing ? food. I took my son for his birthday to thousands oaks because it's only 30min away to try their Sarku location, I'm happy to say ? it's also delicious ? thank you!!!

The food was really good but the Japanese guy that was working today was really rude and he was screaming to the others workers and ignoring all the questions that the customers were asking i think that if he can’t work happy he should stay home

Typical of Sarku in a good mall environment. Feels slightly dated but overall slightly better than average.
