We decided to stop at a popular burger place and needed coffee on our way to LAX. I searched coffee near by and came across a café. As we were parking I noticed Star Donuts. I figured we could get our coffee and a sweet treat for the price of just the coffee at the café. Good decision. The only place around us that consistently has French crullers. Best service is from the owners, they always throw in a handful of donut holes as extras. The employees can be hit and miss.
Just went today for donuts and was disappointed, the server was not friendly. This used to be my favorite place to go and they were always awesome people I t here plus they would always give you a few extra like donut holes if you spent over $10… not anymore.
The server clearly just wanted to be done, she rolled her eyes at me when she misunderstood what I was asking for.
