This was an average experience at best. The pizza was very basic and nothing really stood out to differentiate it from any other place.

I don't like having to stand in line to order and get 50% of a restaurant experience and then have to pay for a full restaurant experience.

I hear the tri-tip is good. I might go back when in the area and give it a second chance.

I’ve had a few small gatherings at home and Stonefire Grill has been great! Wonderful food and I get to enjoy time with my guest. The online menu makes it easy to order. Everything is delish and ca crowd pleaser! Easy clean up too!

The dinners we had at Stonefire Grill were excellent. We had grilled salmon, tri-tip, boneless chicken breast and baby back ribs. The Thousand Oaks location had a lot of open space and was nicely decorated. In general, the service was attentive and efficient. The exception was that the bus staff seemed impatient with us and displayed an attitude that was anxious for us to leave. We may go back to Stonefire Grill, but well before closing time. There are, after all, many competing restaurants in the area.

The food quality is not consistent. The service is okay and the music is too loud.

We ordered catering from StoneFire for a birthday gathering, and when we unpacked everything, we realized the mashed potatoes were missing. We had assumed one of the trays was the mash, but it turned out to be breadsticks. I called the restaurant pretty upset—this was our main meal, and it threw everything off right as we were about to serve.
That’s when Daniel Gill, the Assistant GM, completely turned the situation around. He was kind, professional, and genuinely understanding. Without hesitation, he drove from Thousand Oaks to Moorpark to personally deliver the missing mashed potatoes and make sure our celebration stayed on track.
The truth is, mistakes happen—no one is perfect. What truly matters is how those mistakes are handled, and that’s where Daniel really stood out. He went above and beyond to make it right, and thanks to him, something that could’ve derailed the evening became just a small hiccup. StoneFire is lucky to have someone like him.

The food is decent. We had pizza and which I would eat again. But the service is mediocre at best, you do most things for yourself, and the place was not clean. I would not choose to go here, but if I was with a group who wanted to go, i wouldn’t stop them.

Love the food except for the rare occasional day it's bad, then the meat will be impossible to chew and the breadsticks stale. But they always make it right if you complain. Mind you, I have eaten here at least once a month for the past couple years, and it's only happened two or three times. The other problem is when the line at the ordering counter/registers is long, (and the customers tend to be very slow), and they don't notice, or are understaffed, or for WHATEVER reason, they don't open another register... that can be so irritating I've actually walked out before. What part of FAST casual got forgotten here? Anyway, I keep coming omimg back, because the lunch special is tasty and a good value. Oh well.

My food was delivered you can tell the care they clean their lettuce...corn is fresh pops in my mouth. I will suggest if you order catering have them deliver it
not through third party
make sure you tip your waitresses and waiters they work hard
thank you guys through my vertigo I think I've ordered three times this month 🫢🤪👍 thanks for helping me feel better

Absolutely horrible horrible! Worst place to eat, staff is unkind, not helpful and management sucks! Waited an hour for our food that they messed up on and every time we kept reminding them about a missing item they would roll their eyes and shake their heads(the waiters and the kitchen staff!) That we just left..I wrote them an email regarding their services in January and half a year later still haven't received a response. I would give them zero stars if it was an option. The food was not good at all either and we are still waiting on our bread sticks and salad.

Probably the worst pulled pork sandwich ever, the first bite was two big pieces of fat! And there was more coleslaw than pork and that pork was more sliced than pulled. The beans were ok, kinda bland but ok. Definitely not returning.
