The ramen is good—not amazing, but it gets the job done. Service is okay.
The place itself is average (clean) though the room was uncomfortably cold.
Reasonable prices .
Overall, an okay spot for a bowl of ramen.

I was excited for this place because the reviews seemed good. Unfortunately, there were really bad, strong smells present throughout our whole dinner. I didn't notice until the end of our meal, but my cup smelled like bacteria and that made me worried. The food was not good, though the vegetarian broth was flavorful.

First time we've eaten here. Small place in a strip mall. I had the Vegetarian Ramen & added shrimp. Huge, tasty portion, more than I could eat in one seating. My husband wasn't too hungry and only ordered the Tempura Shrimp appetizer. That was very good, crisp & not greasy. Our kids had the Tonkotsu Ramen & had to take it home too.

Not sure what everyone was raving about or maybe I got the wrong ramen. But the spicy miso ramen I ordered was beyond salty, no depth, and I never thought it was possible for a chashu pork to be so dry. The egg yolk wasn’t overcooked so I’ll give them that, and I can’t speak for the restaurant service because I ordered take out. Overall, disappointed. Wouldn’t order here again.

We like this place best for local ramen. Great choices on the menu and always tastes great. My whole family enjoys what they order every time.

Vegetarian options: The veggie ramen with miso broth is perfect.

We have eaten here multiple times and always found the ramen to be excellent. Unfortunately, last Sunday both my mom and five-year-old son found shards of what we thought was glass (turned out to be hard plastic) in their strawberry smoothies. My son actually spat out an inch-long piece of sharp plastic, which prompted my mom and I to sift through both drinks and find multiples pieces of varying sizes. By this time we were home and when we called the restaurant, they checked and admitted that a piece of their blender had somehow fallen off--without their noticing?--and gotten blended into the drink. The waitstaff didn't express much concern or empathy. Even worse, my mom called last night to speak to the manager, and while he admitted the issue, he didn't even offer an apology--all he did was say that he would talk to the staff about being careful. Fortunately, no damage appears to have been done, but we spent a worried evening and then kept our son home from school to monitor him and take him to the doctor. It's a shame because the food is really good, and I understand that accidents happen, but this is completely unacceptable across the board: from the fact that it did happen to the disappointing response from waitstaff and management.

I live in Oxnard and came to TO to run an errand and got hungry and felt like Ramen so I looked at places and chose his place because it had more stars than other places. This place is just OK. Silverlake Ramen in Oxnard in the food hall in The Collection is way better! And even that Ramen is not the best I’ve ever had. The noodles here are undercooked, in my personal opinion, and the broth is not as flavorful as it can be, and on the thicker side, which makes it creamy but odd. There’s like a film left all over my mouth after each sip of broth. The eggs are awesome! The biggest thing is that the pork is very minimal and super thin and tastes like reheated pork in a microwave. I’m glad I tried it to have a comparison since I’m new to Oxnard and the central coast area, because it just may be that Silverlake Ramen House is the best out here. So I will keep trying places.

I’m not a picky eater. I can eat almost anything. The only thing that I don’t like is squishy oranges. I love Ramen and this place was trash. It tasted like nothing. No flavor absolutely trash never come here. It’s right next to my house. I’ve been here before they went downhill. The egg was good and the meat was good but nothing else. Why would I pay $30 for a piece of meat? And an egg I paid because I’m nice, but that is not worth anything of your time Service was good though
