Yummy ramen and Hugo was awesome! Glad my friend picked this place for lunch. I had the Tokyo and he had the miso ramen. Both were delicious and we also got the garlic rice and it was superb. I will be back!

Went here after a long time. The decoration and ambiance is same as a year back. Usually I order their tonkatsu ramen, but this time I went with chicken katsu curry rice…I’m glad I did. The katsu was top quality … crunchy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside…their curry was absolutely top notch. It had the deep flavor and a slight bit of spicyness at the end. If you haven’t tried their curry do try it.

I came here and had the Chicken miso Ramen and it was incredible, this is my favorite place to go here in Thousand Oaks! There were two ladies working and both of them greeted me with a smile and served the most delicious Ramen I have had in years, I’ll definitely be coming back very soon!

We ordered ramen, and everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Tonkotsu ramen. The chicken gyoza were tender and tasty as well. They were the perfect appetizer to satisfy our hunger before the main course.

🌟 Taiyo Ramen - A Delicious and Affordable Lunch Spot! 🌟
I had the pleasure of dining at Taiyo Ramen for lunch today, and I must say—it was fantastic! The flavors were rich, the ingredients fresh, and the price was just right. If you're looking for a satisfying bowl of ramen without breaking the bank, this is the spot.
The broth was packed with depth and umami, perfectly complementing the tender noodles. The balance of flavors made every bite enjoyable, and the portion size was just right for a fulfilling meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly service that made the experience even better.
Overall, Taiyo Ramen delivers both quality and affordability. I'll definitely be coming back for another bowl soon! 🍜
NOTE: This is my first visit of many more to come! I'm not getting paid to promote this place, but it was very empty today and I'm not sure why. Good food!! Please stop by and support your local eateries!

The ramen is good—not amazing, but it gets the job done. Service is okay.
The place itself is average (clean) though the room was uncomfortably cold.
Reasonable prices .
Overall, an okay spot for a bowl of ramen.

I was excited for this place because the reviews seemed good. Unfortunately, there were really bad, strong smells present throughout our whole dinner. I didn't notice until the end of our meal, but my cup smelled like bacteria and that made me worried. The food was not good, though the vegetarian broth was flavorful.

First time we've eaten here. Small place in a strip mall. I had the Vegetarian Ramen & added shrimp. Huge, tasty portion, more than I could eat in one seating. My husband wasn't too hungry and only ordered the Tempura Shrimp appetizer. That was very good, crisp & not greasy. Our kids had the Tonkotsu Ramen & had to take it home too.

Not sure what everyone was raving about or maybe I got the wrong ramen. But the spicy miso ramen I ordered was beyond salty, no depth, and I never thought it was possible for a chashu pork to be so dry. The egg yolk wasn’t overcooked so I’ll give them that, and I can’t speak for the restaurant service because I ordered take out. Overall, disappointed. Wouldn’t order here again.
Friendly service.
Good food--I liked the black sesame broth.
Nice and quiet.
Clean space.
Would eat here again.
