The Habit Burger Grill

We visited as tourists and had some burgers – they were really delicious! My wife especially enjoyed the veggie burger. The guys working here are super friendly and incredibly attentive – we felt very welcome.

One small downside: the self-service station only works with a U.S. phone number, which makes it a bit difficult for visitors from Europe. But the staff is happy to help, so it’s still absolutely worth a visit!

I would guess this is a franchise if Im right i can tell how the manager and team operates it’s a different vibe from corporate all Im gonna say Im not coming back simply because the owner probably counts every French fry sold for his/her financial gain 🤣🤣🤣 it’s sad when it’s so obvious from corporate vs franchise if the owner read this your gonna ruin your business being so damn cheap

I go to Habit Burger in Westlake all the time, I'm at my nephew for dinner. No matter what habit you go to the food to service the atmosphere is always consistent. If you're going to eat fast food you might as well eat something made to order

Terrible after they were acquired by Taco Bell (Yum Brands). Price increases, food quality plummets, you have to pay for ranch now (no longer included with onion rings). Another great chain ruined

They have Heinz ketchup packets, amazing 1000 Island dressing and REAL ranch dressing. Yes, REAL ranch.
Great variety of beverages, excellent regular and sweet potato fries and ADDICTIVELY delicious char-burgers! Super quality beef for very reasonable prices.
The app has worthwhile offers, as well.
Make this place a regular HABIT! YUM!!

Poor food at a high price

They have 4 automated kiosks that do not take cash. I had cash, walked up to cash register where they take cash. They said someone will help me. I noticed the girl in front was making 5 strawberry shakes. She finished doing that and then proceeded to make 5 chocolate shakes. I asked before she started the chocolate shakes, if she could please take my order now. She had to ask the manager if she could, and then comes back to tell me she can't. It is her and the manager who hands out the food. Neither of them could take my order. It could have taken either one of them 2 minutes to put my order in and give my change and then they can go back to making shakes, or help the next person behind me... Nope. They didn't want to help me and would rather I just stand there waiting for nothing. I'm on my lunch break, I don't have time to wait around while you make ice cream. I used to come here all the time, but now they can't be bothered to take my order because I have cash. I can't be bothered to come back. So unprofessional.

This review is not about the food. The Habit is always good. However, the one thing that can make or ruin your experience is attitude. This is the right place to come if your day is going too good and you need some frustration to bring it down. I am older and of the generation that believes human interaction is a good thing. That being said, i bypassed the order machines in order to speak to a human being. Unfortunately, the humans were too busy playing with the machines. They did not even acknowledge my presence. So my rating is a 1 star because the food is always good, but the service in this location is a negative 5 stars.

I had a milkshake, spicy crispy chicken sandwich, and fries. The milkshakes are so-so. Milkshakes across the street at Jack in the box are better. The fries are edible. The chicken sandwich was really good though. It is one of the better chicken sandwiches you can get from a burger place.
