The Habit Burger Grill

I ordered their BBQ Bacon Burger with fries and my husband ordered a Grilled Chicken sandwich with a side salad. I completely forgot to take pictures.

Even though we ordered via the kiosk the interaction we did have with the staff was very friendly and pleasant. The food was cooked fresh, seasoned well and delicious. If you’re in the area check them out you won’t be disappointed.

Picked up an order to go a little after 11AM for two persons. The ahi was spoiled and had to discard most of the meal when I got home -- in fact I had to empty the garbage since it smelled up the kitchen.

The SB salad was not much better. This must have been yesterday's leftover food (or maybe the day before, at least that is what it tasted like!) and likely a new chef with no oversight. I have been going to Habit for over 20 years and this was the worst experience I have ever had with their food. I won't go back to this location and likely will not go back to Habit at all, if this is how they vet their food.

When I called, after being on hold for almost 15 minutes, I got an answering service! And they would or could not forward my call to the store manage.

I was part owner of a small chain of successful restaurants for over 20 years and we would never have knowingly served such horrible food.

Kid-friendliness: I always get the kids mille! Is there regular Charburger just with small fries and a small drink for around 6 bucks

We were charged $2.00 for two salad dressing! Nothing mentioned by the cashier nor was it posted on the menu. The cashier asked "What dressing?" We asked for blue cheese on the side. And honey mustard on the side. We were sharing the salad, along with our hamburger. The burger was not bad. Small. The chicken salad was ok. Not really big enough to share.

The Habit in Thousand Oaks is a great place to eat! The parking is a little weird, especially if you're trying to do the drive-thru, but it's totally worth it for the amazing food. The Santa Barbara Burger is to die for - it might be the best burger I've ever had. And those deep fried green beans?? Soooo good, they should make potatoes illegal! Seriously, I could live off of those things. Overall, The Habit is just a really fun, great place. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!
