Ubatuba Acai - Thousand Oaks

I love coming here

I absolutely love this place! I never used to like acai but Uba Tuba got me to like it! They're toppings are always so delicious!! It's my go to place since I deal with health issues and have to eat cleaner and healthier, this place makes it easy and it's delicious!!

The only change I would make is when I ask for extra honey, and you charge me for it, I want a lot of honey. The honey with the acai itself is so good and sometimes you guys barely put any on and I don't know why. I've also specified that if I could get the honey on the acai before putting the toppings on, then put the toppings on and add a little more honey on top. When you put all of it on top of the toppings, I can't eat it with the acai. Plus it gets stuck to the lid if I get it to go or order it for delivery. And everytime I've specified to have the honey drizzled on the acai before putting the toppings on, it never happens and I don't know why. And the person helping me always tells me they'll do it but never do. I know it sounds like a small thing but that's the only issue I have. Don't be shy on the honey!! It's not that expensive and when someone asks for extra, please put extra on there! Especially if you're gonna charge for it! Otherwise you guys are great!! Thank you!

Really great Acai but the guy who seemed to be the manager treats his fellow coworkers horribly, seems like a toxic work environment

Don’t go here! This uba tuba is much different than any other store you go to. Their bowls are much larger in size then the regular stores but their açaí is pre made and put into a freezer which doesn’t give it that fresh taste and they only let you choose three free toppings and the other “add ons” you have to pay for them. Which makes your total go much higher then if you go to one of the stores somewhere else. I will not be coming here again

I love açaí so much but the fact that they can’t even give me more than a spoon of nutella as if i didn’t pay for it.

They forgot to add strawberries and bananas to Ubatuba Bowl, then charged me $3 to add them to my bowl. Never have I been charged more for a restaurants mess up, been coming here for years and im very disappointed by this. Won’t be returning

Tasted at an event recently (Brand Forward Summit) and it was delicious!

I love this place so much! The açaí bowls are delicious and they serve empanadas too which are fantastic. Savory and sweet all in one place! Me and my fiance split 3 empanadas which for 3 are $16 and change. We shared the beef empanada, the ham and cheese empanada, and the margarita empanada. All of them were filled with stuffing and were delicious ! They warm them for you so they were hot and fresh. We also got the traditional açaí bowl with strawberries, bananas, granola and honey. I add Nutella on mine as it comes with an extra topping. This place always hits the spot !

Their website is a problem. It doesn’t allow for pickup orders. Called the location and they have no plan in place to help.
I guess they get plenty of business through Uber to allow them to turn away customers.
