Bagels are not just bagels. There's bagels and there's western bagels.

Can't visit LA without a stop at Western Bagel. And consider not telling friends or family as you will be picking up several dozen bagels ..

Service slow. Bagels small. Atmosphere depressing. Everyone seems miserable. Once I walked in the door, I felt miserable too.

I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese online and it said it would take 15 minutes. It took 45 minutes as they made orders for everyone that came in and waited in line. They were pretty rude when I enquired about my order.

The people who work here are so rude! They never smile, don't make eye contact, don't speak to you unless they are taking your money. They are disrespectful. I saw a delivery person come in...one of the ones who pick up food for other people. They saw him, but didn't speak to him, never looked at him again...basically ignored him for at least 10-15 minutes. Finally they handed him his food, didn't look at him or say anything...walked away. that's how they treat the customers too. I have gone there twice. Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time, but after my second experience, will not be going back as well as recommend to my friends no to go back either. Why support an establishment that treats their customers with such disdain. AND they charge $15-20 for A BAGEL

Great place. I have been going there and the Sepulveda store for over 60 years.Good service. Same employees for years.

Loves this place. Walking in immediately greeted with a delicious smell of toasted bread/bagels. The staff here are friendly and kind however some needs to drink coffee to really wake up . I came here 4 times a week, sometimes twice in a day and they still don't recognize me, place is crowded and a little loud. Be patient.

I went here the other day because the bagel shop I usually frequent was closed for remodeling. This place is chaotic with a lot of people waiting for food and no one knows where to stand in line. The bagels were so small and had no taste. It was also way overpriced. I should have known to stick to what I like. If you are hungry I suggest ordering 2 bagels because mine was so small and I was still starving!

Bagels are TINY. Have been coming here for years, but today is probably the last time. The bagels were teeny tiny - like mini bagel size. While tasty, they did not fill my family. It is a shame because workers are nice.Prices are not inexpensive either (over $10 for a single tub of cream cheese). Don't be so cheap with the size of the main item you sell. While I was there another couple opened their order and were missing an entire dozen. Instead of being apologetic, the manager (Mike) came off as quite rude to them. I felt badly for them. Mistakes happen, but own up to them.
