Wood Ranch Thousand Oaks at The Oaks mall

I just put a order for pick up. Order did not go through but I was already charged. Even with proof I ordered they said they would put my order through and charge me twice. Happy Mother’s Day to me with no food and a horrible experience. Thank you manager Tim who wouldn’t give his last name (woodranch Thousand Oaks)

Ribs and chocolate cake, and sweet smashed potatoes and mac n cheese were superb. As was the tri tip salad. Service was the best. I wish I could teach ALL restaurants how to make regular mashed potatoes, especially if they aren't serving gravy. Never the less, 5 stars.

“I tried the smoked, slow-cooked tri-tip since they were out of brisket. Unfortunately, there was so much BBQ sauce that it overpowered the beef flavor. The meat was very tender but lacked the distinct taste of beef.
The complimentary garlic bread was so intense that it overshadowed everything else, and the garlic flavor seemed to linger endlessly. The service was average

Had a very nice dining experience here for our book club dinner. This is my first time dining at this location.

Our waitress, Jovi, was attentive and prompt. I had the Asian chicken salad while my dinner mates had the tri-tip with sides.

Wood Ranch is always a hit when it comes to catering too, as our family and friends often choose this place to cater events.

Got a full rack of ribs and mashed patatos and a house salad. Only thing was any good for 46 $ was the mashed patatos the ribs over cooked and dry and salad had bad lettuce and was the worst salad I've ever had form here the blue cheese was like water and I can berley eat anything they gave me not happy with this order won't be coming back

Food was soo good! Had a perfectly cooked medium steak but the best part was Elizabeth and her great service!! She constantly checked on us and offered refills without being prompted. She made our first time here super comfortable. She is what we all can hope for when we dine at a restaurant. Thank you so much!

Wood Ranch is a popular BBQ chain that exists in and around Ventura county. They offer California Americana style barbecue and sides.
This establishment has inhabited what was once Stacked many moons ago in The Oaks mall. The redesign of the space is very inviting and earthy. The entire space is open and congruent. Nothing feels disjointed or cut off.
The food is fine and truly calls back to the days of going to the grill and getting a nice slab of barbecue or refreshing salad or appetizers.
They serve nice drinks as well, if that is what you are into. The space is a perfect meeting place for get togethers, dates, meetings, or just to get a nice bite to eat.
If you find yourself at the mall, it's definitely a spot to stop and dine at.

My visit was not the best I expected I always put an order to take away and the truth of coming to give the same service as those who eat in the restaurant because I had to wait 70 minutes so that they could give me my order I do not recommend it to anyone who wants to put orders to take away you just look at how they enter and leave and one keeps waiting

I had never been here before, but one of my Mom's fave places. Amazing atmosphere, and super-friendly Staff. The wait time was non-existent, we were able to be seated RIGHT AWAY during the busy Lunch Hour. Though I just had Lunch special with soup and Mac and Cheese, very yummy. My hubby loved his Sea Bass and my Mom loved her Ribs.
Sean was an amazing Server! Thorough, fast, super-friendly, amazing service! Though honestly, we were made to feel like Family from the minute we stepped in the door. Prices very decent, huge, yummy portions. I can't wait to tell all my Friends back home in Missouri about this amazing place and Staff!

I dined at this place once before , it was ok. Ok compare to other WR locations. Couple of days ago I took a take out order from this restaurant, and I found a long strand of hair in their koleslaw. Disgusting… so gross
