My new favourite coffee shop! Not only is the coffee and matcha delicious the staff is just as sweet. I have been to this shop several times and can confirm it’s always amazing. They are also always adding seasonal drinks, which is fun. The banana Matcha is divine and my go to!

I’ve been coming to Cocoa + Cream on Riverside Drive in Toluca Lake since they opened. My wife and I stop in almost every day and sometimes even twice a day. Everything they offer is fantastic. The chocolates, gifts, and drinks are all amazing, especially the iced hot chocolate, which is currently a secret menu item.
Beyond the food and drinks, the vibe and energy of the place really set it apart. We have come to genuinely love the entire team. Nick and his wife Tiana, Spencer, Matthew, Katie, Talia, Hannah, and Kylee are just great people making great things.
Could not recommend this place more. We truly love Cocoa + Cream and the people behind it.

Was just passing by and decided to stop in to try a matcha. They have an awesome selection of flavors! I tried the Wicked Good matcha and it was delicious. They also have gelato and chocolates all made in house! I will be back to try the ube gelato.

Had a couple of incredible coffees at Cocoa + Cream and honestly, they were right up there. As an Australian coffee snob (!), that’s saying something. Properly made, full of flavour, zero shortcuts. The owners were also lovely, ridiculously friendly and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you care about good coffee - and genuinely lovely people.
As a total matcha snob, I don’t say this lightly, I fell in love with their iced banana milk matcha. It’s perfectly balanced, creamy, and clearly made by people who actually respect good matcha. I’m also a bit of a chocolate snob, and somehow they’re the only place outside of Disneyland that has churro toffee, and it’s absolutely amazing. Their gelato is exceptional across the board, including the dairy-free options, which are just as good and never feel like a compromise. Beyond the drinks and treats, the vibe is warm and inviting, and the staff are always genuinely friendly and welcoming. Toluca Lake really needed something like this, and it’s become my favorite stop on my walks around the neighborhood.

One of the most delicious and aesthetic spots in the area. Cocoa + Cream is a one stop shop for fancy coffee and Matcha drinks, gelato, fine chocolates, and unique gifts! You cannot go wrong with any of their selections. The design of the shop is so cute and whimsy. It gives you a modern but nostalgic feel at the same time if that some how makes sense! 🩵🤍🍦Go enjoy some treats and take some pics in their practically perfect Instagram worthy setting!

Look, I’m not going to pretend this is some profound culinary revelation. It’s ice cream. But here’s the thing - Cocoa and Cream actually gives a damn, and you can taste it. The texture is what ice cream is supposed to be. Not that airy, whipped garbage that melts into nothing before you get it to your mouth. This is dense, real, the kind of thing that coats your spoon and makes you slow down for a second. They’re not overthinking it with twelve different mix-ins and some Instagram-bait monstrosity. They’re just making good ice cream. Honest flavors. Proper technique. Staff that doesn’t look miserable to be there. Sometimes the best thing a place can do is nail the basics without trying to be clever about it. Cocoa and Cream does exactly that.

Cocoa + Cream has such a different selection of drinks & each one is delicious. High end quality espresso. We tried the iced peppermint patty latte and it was incredible. A lady stopped me on the street asking where I got my drink from. Everyone at Cocoa + Cream are so kind meeting Spencer & Kylie to one of the owners, Nick. Such a great cozey vibe. Can’t wait to try out more drinks!
