Love this place so much. Their sushi is always so fresh and love the flavor profiles they choose. My favorite rolls/sashimi there is the citrus forward specialty rolls. The lime roll is my absolute fav there. I recommend making a reso for dinner bc it's usually busy but for lunch you can usually get right in. Parking is a bit of a hassle because of the trader Joe's so close so residential parking is the move.

Not tasty! Their tuna tastes like the one in the refrigerator. The shishito portion is 5 small pieces. They played a trick on us by bringing us the appetizer menu first and after we asked why the portions were small, they brought us the menu for the large dishes at the same appetizer prices.

Sushi Yuzu is a small, unassuming gem that serves top-quality sushi. I’m usually picky when it comes to sushi, but this place truly impressed me. The fish is always fresh, and the nigiri is expertly prepared. The service is attentive, and the vibe is relaxed but elegant. It’s not as flashy as other sushi places in LA, but the quality of the food speaks for itself. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic sushi.

We had a very nice dinner here. It was highly recommended by a friend. It is a cute little place that fills up quickly. We ended up sitting outside with some heaters, which was quite nice. We tried the Brussel sprout appetizer, and it was excellent. We ordered the Asian roll, the lobster tempura roll as well as the soft shell crab roll. All were very good. The negima, which is chicken on a stick, was very tasty. We finished with mochi, which was perfect.

The food here is always good. It's a bit small and noisy, but the food is worth it.

The best sushi outside of little Tokyo. Sister restaurant across the street is killer too if the wait is too long.

Kid-friendliness: Leave your kids at home, it's date night🤣

The sushi here is, plain and simple, excellent. The fish is unequivocally fresh, the rice texture is on point, the sauces do not overpower or overwhelm the natural flavors of the fish itself; and the practice of adding thin delicate sheets of black truffle to your Nigiri for an added charge is a satisfying indulgence.

Now that we have established that the food is quite good, here are a list of very honest negatives:
1. The restaurant is too small to have a pleasant meal in. Customers here tend to be loud, boisterous and often with a few too many alcoholic drinks in them. You see a lot of tipsy yelling and laughing. Not a fine dining vibe AT ALL. The tables are so close together, you have little to no privacy and feel sardined into your seat. The patio is just as loud and the tables feel cheap, wobbly and uncomfortable (some of them are literally plastic picnic tables).
2. The wait is terrible. Even if they aren’t crowded, you’ll end up standing at the hostess stand 15-20 minutes before somebody decides to address you.
3. The parking lot ALWAYS has some long and wide Mercedes or BMW parked right in the middle of 2 spaces. As a result, 4 cars fit into like 8 spaces. It’s not pretty and it’s not fun.

Basically, if you’re willing to spend forever parking, spend even longer waiting at the hostess stand, wait 45 min to get a table and then sit in the loudest, most headache inducing restaurant (with poor acoustics) then yes, you will get good sushi.

I hate the noise level and I still go back on occasion because I like the sushi that much. But I really hope they consider moving locations.

I thought the food was good. But, my overall experience wasn’t so great. It took a very long time for our food to come out. Unlike other restaurants, they brought out everything all at once including the appetizer. This explains why there was such a long delay! And, I was very displeased that they weren’t transparent with the pricing. The price shown on the menu was different from what I was actually charged. And, that’s because they said the fish was market price, which was NOT noted on the menu nor shared verbally. This is unacceptable!
