Parking $7 on a weekday afternoon. There is no free parking whether there are cars or not. The best was the vibe of the place. Food was avg . This place doesn’t get enough hate I feel. So basic.

The food is mid. Especially for the price. But the atmosphere and vibes are great. And that’s why you come here.
Free street parking. Without a reservation, expect to wait ~1 hour.
They have about 3 vegetarian options for meals. Only 1 vegan option.

One of our favorite places to go for brunch, especially with our of towners! Gorgeous setting that makes you feel like you're in a tree house, plus the food is amazing and picture worthy.

This was my favorite dining experience near the LA area. The restaurant itself is built into the canyon so it looks like this immaculate treehouse, with views of the gorgeous mountains. It was a tad cold when we went, but there was heating lamps around the tables to keep us warm. All the cutlery and dishes are gorgeous and extraordinary. All of those positive things said, the food was PERFECT. My wife had the Momma's Combo, it was fantastic. For me, I had the best Egg's Benedict ever. Topped with luscious lobster and a hollandaise sauce that I could drink with a straw, it was so good. Every bite was a taste of heaven and this breakfast cannot be beat. I will think about this meal for a long time. Oh, and Mimi the cat is pretty sweet as a mascot too!
*Highly recommend making reservations or you will be waiting quite awhile.

An early morning drive through Topanga Canyon en route to Zuma Beach was the highlight of my recent trip to LA and I'm so glad I stopped at Cafe on 27 along the way. Amazing serene atmosphere nestled in nature, food and service were excellent, the place literally checked every box. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a real canyon experience - can't wait to get back.

Very odd place. Mandatory $7 valet to park in the parking lot. Never hear of this. It’s ridiculous. Oh and they tax you on it which is illegal in California. Food is ok, nothing special. Breakfast/Brunch Menu is odd and limited. Very expensive for what you get. Views are cool. Atmosphere is cool. Service is pretty good. Not sure if I would return.
I love it, special atmosphere and amazing food, All in one. It is my favourite spot.

From my understanding it was mandatory valet parking. I went on valentines day so naturally there was a long wait time. Was waiting for about an hour. There is a gift shop where you can linger as you wait. There seemed to be very limited seating due to the atmosphere. Very beautiful scenery. Service was decent. Will give them credit to say it was probably due to the holiday that they were not as attentive. Meal was very delicious but in my opinion very overpriced. The matcha was to my liking and the drinks were at very good price. The desserts were delicious but in my opinion overpriced. Would go again solely for the drinks and ambiance but would not recommend to go for a meal due to the prices. Overall had a great experience. They do have high chairs but do not have a kids menu. My son is a very picky eater. A side of bacon and some fries was the best accommodations I was able to provide for him. If you have picky kiddos beware!

One of the most beautiful authentic places that you feel you’re experiencing the nature while enjoying the food. The quality of the food is good, but not the best of the best. They have some fusion dishes that are Persian inspired and it’s interesting but it could be made a little bit more high-quality. Their tahdig Benedict is an interesting idea but they’re fried rice is not really crispy as much as you expect it to be. It’s more like mushy rice. Their staff is nice and overall I highly recommend going to this place.

Love this place. Such a beautiful and peaceful spot in the canyon. Food is a bit pricey but it’s good and the atmosphere makes up for all of it. I always stop here when I’m in the area
