Make a trip out of it, trust me :) Topanga Canyon itself is a magical place and the Canyon Bakery is a part of its charm. This place has absolutely delicious sweet & savory baked goods and breads, a warm, welcoming energy and a great place to sit and enjoy your treats. From the talented baker behind the window, a wonderful person taking your orders, Dave greeting and helping you decide what treat will hit your fancy for the morning and locals & visitors alike- everyone there is lovely.The Canyon Bakery is only open Sunday 9- sell out (and they will!) and for pickups on Friday (order by Monday), and well worth a making it a destination for either (or both to be honest) of those days!As a regular topanga visitor, the canyon bakery had been high on my list to try and I’ll be back next Sunday and most going forward! I had their cinnamon roll which came to me warm, I was completely surprised & delighted, and an egg potato cheese tart w/salad (and they kept great as leftovers!). I loved both and looking forward to trying more!

Amazing spot!! They are only open on Sundays (as of June 2023) and they go until they sell out. Would highly recommend stopping by to try this adorable bakery and unique pastries. The owners are very friendly. I believe they also sell multigrain breads on Monday if you pre-order.

I love this bakery. I adore the owners. They are great people. The bread and pastries are baked fresh daily and super yummy. I had one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. I'll be back again and again!

This place is such an absolute gem. The made-from-scratch baked goods themselves are out of this world and no matter what you choose, you are guaranteed to love it! On top of that, the owners and the atmosphere they create is so welcoming and beautiful and they will make you feel right at home as if you're just hanging out with old friends. The Canyon Bakery is wonderful, and should definitely be on your list if you're in the area. It is my new Sunday tradition for sure! :)

What an absolute treasure of a find with the loveliest people you could possible want to meet! Patty and Dave made us feel like old friends (and I’m pretty sure we are now). The pastries were sublime and the conversation even better! Can’t wait to go back and pick up where we left off (not to mention sample more of the delicious treats!)

If you want GREAT food, fun conversation with the owners and an idyllic setting, this is the place to go. An absolute hidden gem in Topanga. I think it's mostly open on Sundays but you can order food for pickup for Friday. A worthy weekend tradition!

We made our way down the winding canyon close to noon on a Sunday after the Topanga Vintage Market. What a dreamy patch of property inside Will Greer’s Theatricum Botanicum (we did not see a play and were there strictly for the bakery.) Service was California laid-back. Had a scalloped potato/egg/cheese tart, my boyfriend had the towering, gooey chocolate cinnamon snail. Enchanting. Yummy.

Simply the best, so happy to have Patrice in the canyon creating delicious treats!

Superior ,scrumptious products. Every week I buy a treat at our Topanga Farmers Market... So accommodating to requests.... Her cheesecake was the best..now the bar to compare to...

Patti is a superb baker. She listens to feedback about the previous week's bake and works to make her already delicious bread even better. She is the best baker for anyone seeking to be gluten-free. I recently bought elsewhere when Patti was recovering from surgery and the bread was quite tasty but the ingredient list was long and had a few items I bet aren't in Patti's loaves, such as xanthan gum.
