I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee during my lunch break and they gave me a cup with 85% ice and maybe five sips of coffee. it tasted great and all but i am very disappointed in them not giving more than even half the size of the cup in liquid!!! do better and dont waste my money next time!

This company is overhyped. Poor customer service made me stop coming here, but I also found the drink and food options to be lacking in general. My last experience here, a bread stocker and a cashier rudely told me to move somewhere else while I was waiting for a drink as if I were blocking people. I was out of the way from traffic, I was aware of my surroundings, and no one was behind me or near me. Then when I went to look at bread the same stocker bumped into me without even an apology. Some basic manners would have gone a long way.

Service is terrible. Staff is rude and not polite. I work in the mall, actually right next door to this location. I as well as my coworkers have been coming to this location almost everyday for the past two years (I work 5 days a week). The staff acts as if they don’t know who we are despite us literally being the store connected adjacent to them and frequenting this location often.
Not only is the staff generally unfriendly and unhelpful as a mall neighbor, prompting my coworker to swear by never spending money at the location after a negative experience with staff. I recently purchased a large peach green tea with mango jelly as I have done so for almost two years. The first time the drink was made wrong and was passionfruit and not peach. I return drink and it is made again (just a tad of an inconvenience bc I had to leave the floor of my store as a manager to return my drink). The drink that was made a second time lacked any kind of sweetener prompting me to have to leave my store for a second time to ask that my drink be made again. Upon the third time having to do this, I was seemingly patronized by the girl at the register and the woman who made my drink. I was told sweetener was included when I’ve drank the drink for two years daily I know it lacked the sweetener, it’s not rocket science to know when you’re drinking bitter tea. My drink was remade again by the girl at the register who then told me to taste it to make sure it was ok before she patronized me by saying, “I made your drink the same way she did with the company standard of sweetness” ok? Maybe they did make the drink exactly the same way but it’s not impossible that the first girl forgot to include sweetener. I’m a manager at a luxury retailer next door, my discretion is SHARP. I found it incredibly rude that I was made to seem like I was being a picky customer when I was the one literally inconvenienced as a MANAGER by having to leave my store 4 times in total to resolve this. Despite them being my neighbor, I will never spend money at this location again.

This review is for the matcha strawberry milk tea, which I ordered with boba for extra fee. This is a drink that a lot of boba places cannot get right. 85 degrees knows how to make this drink. Nice balance of flavors. They use real milk, not fake chemical creamer that boba shops often use. Plus it is reasonably priced. I highly recommend this drink. I order it frequently when I am at this shop. The Del Amo location does it particularly well,

Just came in 10 min ago the 2 girls working had a very bad attitude very rude
I had a very disappointing experience at 85 Degrees. I ordered a tiger boba latte, expecting it to be a coffee-based drink. After a few sips, I realized there was no coffee in it. I returned to the counter to let them know, but they assured me this was how the drink is made. I tried to explain that a latte is traditionally a coffee drink, but they insisted I was wrong and that’s not what it means at their establishment.
To me, it feels misleading to advertise something as a 'latte' when it contains no coffee. This is confusing for customers who are accustomed to the traditional meaning of the term.
What made this worse was the dismissive attitude of what I believe was the manager. Despite my clear dissatisfaction, they wouldn’t offer an apology or a replacement drink. This lack of professionalism and effort to resolve the issue left me feeling unheard as a customer.
It’s clear they should be more concerned about customer satisfaction and making an effort to improve the experience for their patrons. I won’t be returning.

Horrible customer service. The employee had publicly humiliated me by falsely accusing me of speaking to an associate and banning me from the location in front of other customers. When I tried to explain that they must have me confused with another person and I would like to know who made such accusations they would not tell me or even hear me out with no proof of such claims. I have been a frequent customer because I work in the mall and have always been very respectful to all employees.
Drinks are great and so are the breads, Rosa and Mariah were very fast and super friendly. Loved their customer service and attitudes. Will come again!

I love 85 degree bakery! But, we went in yesterday and ended up waiting 35 mins for 2 coffees. There was only one girl working the coffee bar, which in itself is hard to manage, but her pace was well below average. I understand being short staffed but she had no haste behind her work ethic and seemed to be unphased seeing the back up of people. Employees seem to have decreased their desire to have customer service these days which is sad to admit because I do enjoy this place. But ultimately don’t enjoy waiting 35 mins for 2 coffees.

The products from this store are very good but the service is terrible. It takes more than an hour to buy a coffee ??
This place is amazingly slow as hell. I ordered a drink I waited over 20mins and no drink still waiting. Can they even do any slower for a drink?

Honestly, I love 85°C Bakery Cafe. I'm not so much a sweet pastry person and I absolutely love they have savory breads with ham, cheese, eggs, even jalapeños. Their drinks are so good and it was my first time trying their iced mocha with oatmilk and it was delicious.
