Great flavors & an amazingly friendly staff. Not only is the food fantastic, but I love to see all of the great things they do for the benefit of the community. Good to see a small business reinvesting time & money to better the world on a local level.
Food is great, music is great, staff is great!!
My supervisor took me here, so right away, it's better than usual, right?
Hawaiian food. Was fantastic. I ordered the half chicken/half beef plate with rice & mac salad. There was so much delicious food, i had to take some home.
They have many delicious items on the menu. They also have many options for drinks.
There is indoor & outdoor seating.
Parking is a little tight.
You won't be unsatisfied. Enjoy

The food is really great here!
Tried the chicken katsu and teriyaki chicken.
I prefer the katsu since it taste better while the teriyaki felt like it was missing something to make it great. Price is about $15-17 per plate.
Total was about $49 for:
Teriyaki Chicken plate
Mini Katsu plate
Spamasubi
Rice Krispy lilikoi
2 Hawaiian sodas.
Service is really great, staff is really nice and welcoming. If you are going for lunch definitely call it in. Arrived at 12:15 and waited in line for about 10min. And another 15-20 to get our food. There are signs that say wait may be 30-40min during lunch rush.
Definitely going back again

Needs more Love(food)
Pros
Great Atmosphere
Large portions!
Furikake Chicken
Guava Cake
Kalua Pig & Cabbage
Macaroni salad?
Cons
Fried Rice/Side; patches of white rice, not mixed well and lacking any seasoning/flavor(bland)
Katsu Chicken; no seasoning on chicken or any in bread crumbs. Good bread crumb texture, but without seasoning it's disappointing...
Furikake Chicken sauce on point with Furikake, but you have to have seasoning on the chicken because the bland chicken comes through
Guava Cake; filling good but expected a little more guava, perhaps on the top/icing. The cake was perfect, dense and great!
Haupia Cake; idk if the cake is suppose to have moist sections, but the denseness was not like the Guava Cake perfection. Thank you for not over doing the shredded coconut, but not very much coconut flavor at all...?
Military veteran discount, but only applies to single person(wife and I got the plates, but not our son); makes no sense if you have a family and you order $120 in food, yet children or dessert is not discounted, even if there are equal amounts of cake with the plates...? When I brought this up with the lady at the counter/mgr(?) she stated would need to bring up to the owner...
First time and last time coming, as there are other places that offer better love/seasoning and Hawaiian fried chicken that was missing here.
Also, why aren't the desserts listed for online ordering or on the menu?
I ordered the custard dessert($8.50) and did not get it(to go). I'll take partial blame for being in a hurry and not checking before leaving, but spent a decent amount and felt a bit short changed...

A little sad to sit down with such good food and eat it out of a plastic take out container ? but maybe that's just me.
Ordered most of the menu's mains across two people + lots of leftovers (this was actually an accident but things happen).
Across the board pretty good but maybe because we accidentally ordered so much it did take quite some time to come out.
Will come back eventually but maybe I need to come earlier in the day to get plates? Or maybe that's just not a thing? Not sure. I can't say this is the best Hawaiian food since I'm not an expert but even in plastic and coming out a little slowly it was a better experience than the big chain places.

This modest, fast-paced Hawaiian restaurant has all the favorites you’d expect. The line can seem a bit intimidating, but it moves quickly and is totally worth the wait. The staff is friendly, efficient, and welcoming. I got the combo plate, which was more than enough food with some left over. I highly recommend the Garlic Shrimp (a must!), Furikake Chicken, and upgrading to the Pork Fried Rice. Everything was delicious! I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Expect to spend around $25 per person. This place is my new favorite Hawaiian spot in Torrance/South Bay!

I was treated here for my birthday. There were 3 of us and we went on a Saturday afternoon. BIG MISTAKE! The space is entirely too small for the event they had going on. Seating is extremely limited.
I ordered the combo plate with all beef, sides were mixed veggies and the macaroni salad. My beef was hot and good. I'm a carnivore so I didn't want the sides but I was treated. The mac salad was all mayonnaise and not very good. The mixed veggies were soggy and Bland! We tried it but we definitely won't be going back.
Also, they serve the food in to go containers. I didn't mind that because the server had to walk around with our food to find us a table to sit at. It was packed and people were not leaving quickly.

One of the best local Hawaiian restaurants, with amazing taste and huge portions. They had live music in the Sat we were there.

Everything about this place is great! The food is authentic and the service is fantastic.
The garlic shrimp is reminiscent of the North Shore shrimp trucks and the Mac is the best I've had outside of Hawaii.
Go here. Get the shrimp. Get the furikake chicken, get the short ribs. You cannot go wrong, and the portions are massive! 10/10 highly recommend!

Definitely a cut above the typical l&l or ono. This place is a by us for us type and it shows. Great atmosphere, food is just as good as the rating implies, great people.

9.26.24. The kalbi short ribs and teriyaki chicken with Mac salad and rice was truely delicious and boyfriend approved ✔
It only took about 10 minutes for our food to be served to us.
A very Hawaiian flavourful plate of meats without being burnt or over marinated like some places I've been too.
It was a nice day to sit in their outside patio.
I will definitely return when I'm in the area . Try them if you haven't been.
Also support small businesses because they support the community.
