We love Benihana, but this time we got a new chef. Nice guy, but didn't know how to put on a show, example didn't do the volcano. He wasn't able to cool many of the items at the same time like normal. I understand you have to train a new chef, but then we should be offered something for it. We had a kid going there for for first time and his expectation was not met.

We go to Benihana once every two months. I don't think we will be coming back. The food was not very good especially for the outrageous prices. When we walked in, the hostess was doing her makeup and did not acknowledge us for about 3 minutes. Extremely disappointed.

Seems to be understaffed. No reason we should wait at our table for over an hour for a cook to arrive, seeming overwhelmed and underprepared due to lack of support.

Had a reservation at 7:30pm. Got a text at 7:16pm that my table was ready. Went inside at 7:22pm. Go see the receptionist she tells me sorry the system has a glitch your table isn't ready. I didn't get seated until 8:20pm. Server was horrible however the chef Earl was great. Probably will stick to going to the Downey Location.

Benihana is always crowded but always good. This was our third visit in the past month. Their $30 birthday coupon is extremely generous. The filet was so tender and perfectly seasoned. We specifically asked for Chef Chris because of he seasons & cooks our steaks perfectly. He's always friendly and attentive to our requests. We'll be back.

I recently dined at Benihana for a special occasion, and it was a memorable experience! The hibachi-style dining is the star of the show—our chef put on an entertaining performance with skillful tricks like the flaming onion volcano and playful food-tossing, which kept everyone at the table engaged and laughing. The atmosphere is lively and perfect for group celebrations, with communal tables fostering a fun, social vibe.

We showed up at 5:30 for our reservation and the chef didn't show up until 6:20. The service was very slow. The food was not a good value. It ended up being $72 per person. For us this was a one time visit for the next ten years. It was very loud so we needed to shout just to hear our friends when we were talking. It was also a smoky environment.

Disguisting Food Service handling. My “Top Chef Benihana Master” was a disgrace cutting raw chicken and using the same knife for the rest of the meal without even a cleaning attempt.. NOT EVEN AN ATTEMPT. Adding to my list of Chef’s to request NOT to come to my table: PEPE, JOSE, CHRIS, RILEY. Do not come here unless you want FOOD POISONING.

Aaron was an absolute sweetheart always checking in to make sure that we had everything we needed. He was very friendly towards everyone and he overall had a great attitude. The food could use a little less butter and a little more spice to it but otherwise, the meal was enjoyable and the show was very vibrant and colorful. Would recommend for full parties:)
