Ordered Prime beef sandwich requested inside bread taken out, never done, not enough meat for $15 and too much grizzle and fat not chewable, lastly ordered glass of wine, tasted like soap, they were apologetic and replaced the wine, no reason to return, very ordinary and costly

Me and my husband shared our favorite sandwich, Left Coast Pastrami and a bag of Maui onion chips, today. We agree that this sandwich shop is better than Togos, Subway and Jersey Mikes. We will definitely keep coming back and encourage others to try it out - you won't be sorry!

Awesome experience- only been open for a little while but seriously great sandwiches and the sauce is amazing (ask for extra) you are gonna want it- it’s addicting. Oh and the beer selection is all local and they have specials on them once in a while!

One star mostly for horribly rude service that expects to be tipped when as soon as you order and pay at the register! Big tip cup out, too for a fast food take out?

Anyway, I came in to see the menu as I’d never been there before. I was blocked from seeing the wall and counter menu as there was a very tall man standing there chatting with the cashier. No biggie, I just left and went next door to see the menu at the kebab restaurant. I wasn’t in the mood for what they had so….

I figured I’d given the tall man enough time to order. No. He was still chatting away with the cashier. No biggie, this time …

I walked to the other side of the counter where there was another menu taped down, a register and a woman doing something on the register, like taking readings. I decided I’d try their grilled club sandwich. Saddened to find no fries or chips, I ordered the potato salad. I asked the woman on the register if she could take my order. Did I want a beer? No. I want food.

She walked over to the other register where the two were chatting, to use that register. . I followed over and waited to have room so the man would move to his left. Turns out it was all just a ling flirt going on and he left after I was done ordering and getting my water at the fountain. I then sat outside as music was a bit loud inside v

The order took about ten minutes to come. I think it was the same young girl in the long flirt that delivered it. I thought she asked me if I had a fork which I said no but I’d like one. She said there’s a spoon which should be fine for the potato salad but if I want a fork I could have one.

I opened the potato salad to see if I was fine with a spoon and took a mouthful. Yuck! It was loaded with SUGAR! I said, “they put sugar in this!” She said, “probably, I don’t know. I don’t make it”. I said “well, I can’t eat this”. She said, “well there’s nothing I can do about it” she turned to leave and I stopped her “well, someone can”. She told me there was no manager and the other two woman there couldn’t do anything. She would tell them if I want but they won’t care.

I said someone is in charge and I would like to talk to them. She said she’ll tell them but doubts they’ll care or come over.

I was appalled! I worked in restaurants and customer service for decades. I cannot believe how my concern/complaint was being handled. Good thing I didn’t tip beforehand! Rude and ignorant is what I call this kind of service. Nobody ever did come over.

I ate my sandwich which was good. Nothing greatly outstanding but good. The potato salad was not. I never heard of anyone putting sugar in it. If you need to serve it this way, notate it on the menu. Many people can’t have sugar. It simply don’t like it.

I will never come back here due to the very poor quality staff. The sandwich was not good enough to overlook this rude service experience.

I’m sorry, too, as I left in a hurry and fell and dropped the PS on the patio but don’t worry, I prepaid for it. I’m sure that young gal cleaned it up…. Not.

Owners, good help may be hard to find but you’ve gotta get rid of at least one of those on this evening and train all new ones in how to give proper service. Don’t expect anyone “knows” how to act and be polite.

Board & Brew never disappoints! The sandwiches are simply amazing, packed with high-quality ingredients that you can really taste. We ordered a variety for the office, and everyone was raving about them. The flavors are on point, the bread is always fresh, and the portion sizes are generous. It's clear that they put a lot of care into what they do. We’ll definitely be ordering from Board & Brew again—our new go-to for office lunches!

Great Sandwiches with a Friendly Atmosphere!

I recently visited Board and Brew in Torrance and had a delightful experience. The sandwiches here are truly something special. I tried the Tuna on wheat, and it was packed with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. The bread was good, and the balance of the fillings was just right.

The service was friendly and efficient, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The staff are young!

The ambiance of the place is cozy and inviting, perfect for a quick lunch or a casual meal with friends. They also have a good variety of options on the menu, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences.

While everything was great, I felt that the prices were a bit on the higher side for aa sandwich place. However, the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worth it.

I highly recommend Board and Brew to anyone in Torrance looking for a tasty and satisfying sandwich. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their offerings!

Great sandwich shop and not overpriced. Good portions. Excellent quality. My new go to place for roast beef dip sandwiches. They have an excellent potato salad. Hope they're going to add macaroni salad in the near future. Wish they had fries or mashed potatoes also. Nice selection of vegetarian options as well. They close at 8:00 Sun-Thurs. 8:30 Fri. and Sat. Hoping they will extend their hours on Fridays and Saturdays especially during the summer to at least 9.

Went with family. Not a beer drinker. Shared a sandwich. Kind of pricy for serving of meat on beef dip sandwich. The play area outside for children is good just be vigilant. Lots of unsupervised children and big kids that probably should not be in area more suited for 6 and under
