I was there for Mother's Day tea. Everything was delicious and absolutely lovely and even more impressive was the level of detail and care that went into planning the special Mother's Day menu. They even gave out a lovely tea cup and saucer to take home as a Mother's Day gift. I was really moved by how thoughtful the restaurant put into the whole day.
Went there recently with a friend for high tea. Nice ambience. Nice selection of tea sandwiches and scones. Not much of a selection of drinks other than tea or water. It would be nice if they were able to offer Champagne for the high tea but they don't have a wine license. They do allow you to bring your own. They seem to be very lightly staffed and it did take quite a while when we had a request. The tea was very nice and the food was good quality. Nice traditional tea...
It was a great experience. Service was excellent. We were seated right away. The plates were lacking. Pictures showed so much more. The tea was exceptionally amazing. The champagne looking tea was the best. We also tried butterscotch tea. The chocolate lips and red hearts with tea infusion was delicious. The tea sandwiches lacked a bit. But everything was fulfilling. My husband loved the salmon finger sandwiches. There was a lot to view inside.
