The Japanese or Asian old skinny and short lady was very rude with her service. She is so unprofessional and not welcoming at all. She didn’t have the proper skill of how to treat her customers. So thing is I don’t believe in tipping culture and I don’t see that as a required thing, so most of the times I choose not to tip, especially if it’s a cafe or fast food restaurant. Honestly this food felt like a fast food, so I didn’t feel the need to tip. Like a quick eating for me, not like a complete lunch or dinner. When that happened. This old lady had audacity to come up to me and call me out for not tipping and being rude about it. She even said “don’t come again” in a rude manner. Which was very disrespectful as this was my second time coming here to eat. First time when I came the young lady that helped us she was very nice and her service was really good. That’s the reason we came back, and we were gonna make it our regular spot on every Monday. But they lost this opportunity. Also the way that the old lady comes up to us and calls us out, shows how cheap she is and how could someone beg like this in a restaurant by tipping, that’s so cheap and pathetic. Also there is no law that says about tipping is mandatory as well, so I don’t see a reason why people should be enforced to tip. I openly say it I don’t tip, I did ubereats myself 1 year ago and I never begged or expected for a tip from the customers because I know that’s pathetic. Also a another thing when I explained this to the manager, instead of acknowledging it, she started arguing with me. At the last she apologized but it didn’t seem like she cared, looked like just formality. And when I was talking to the manager, the old lady walked behind us and gave us a dirty face and yelled “uhhhhhh” right in front of manager. That is just unprofessional, everywhere else I go it’s not like this. By the way this is USA, you can’t be rude to your customers and be unprofessional to them, it doesn’t work like that here.

I tried Hiroshima Okonomiyaki when I first visited Japan over a decade ago, and I fell in love! When I came back, I thought I was only going to be able to have this dish in Japan, but I was stoked to find out there is one located in Torrance. Whenever I visit my mom, she always asks for me to bring her a dish. I usually get the Chinchikurin with traditional noodles and add mochi on top and it never disappoints.
The staff is super friendly and I always enjoy sitting infront of the grill and watch them work.

Service was very good.
The Hiroshima okonomiyaki was pretty good. I regretted the crispy noodle, as I don't like the burnt rice texture. There's not much meat, but the sauce is good.
My wife loved her vegan okonomiyaki.

My favorite style of Okinomiyaki is Hiroshima style, and this place does it well. We got their signature with beef and the basic with pork, both with the thin crispy noodles, and both were great.
I'll definitely be going back.
We were in Tokyo a couple months ago but didn't get a chance to have okonomiyaki. Didn't even cross our minds actually. Thank goodness a friend recommended it. Came here with zero expectations and this place totally surprised me.
We order 2 plates, a crispy and one regular. Both were tasty. Not salty nor overly drenched in sauce. Presentation was superb and appetizing. I recommend ordering both types of noodles because it was hard to decide which was better.
We got there at 11:30 with 1/3 occupancy. By the time our food came it was full with a line outside.

Finally Okonomiyaki for first time!!♥️✌️
Unique foods I haven’t seen at other Japanese restaurants. Definitely worth a try for something new
Super unique super delicious. If you’ve never had okonomiyaki you gotta try it!
I finally got to try Chinchikurin in Torrence, and their okonomiyaki did not disappoint! The flavor was spot on—savory, satisfying, and cooked just right. The portion size was perfect, filling but not overwhelming. They also have other options if you’re not in the mood for okonomiyaki, which is nice!
It’s definitely not the cheapest place for okonomiyaki, but the quality makes it worth it. Plus, the service was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re craving authentic Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
You can eat surprisingly authentic Hiroshima-yaki.
You can choose between crispy and soft Hiroshima-yaki noodles.
I also recommend the fried chicken covered in green onions.

The best okonomiyaki I've had since traveling to Japan. I got the GOAM Okonomiyaki and the yuzu honey soda. Both were amazing! The service was also so friendly and fast.
