The Classic Okonomiyaki
Pork. Keeping it simple and sweet! This is your standard Hiroshima style okonomiyaki (every okonomiyaki dish on the menu has the classic as its base) with all the basics and no fluff. Enjoy as-is or add toppings and extras to your liking.
Chinchikurinyaki Okonomiyaki
Beef. The signature dish of the chinchikurin chain in Hiroshima. A local favorite, it does not have pork or beans sprouts. Instead, it has a ground beef mix known as "Shibouriyaki" which adds a deeper depth of flavor and texture.

Soupless Spicy Tan Tan Men
Chinchikurin is bringing a whole bowl of noodles to the table with this dish. Not to be confused with the spicy tan tan ramen, the Hiroshima style tantanmen is a soupless noodle dish that is slightly spicy and contains sansho. This dish contains a hearty portion of noodles topped with ground pork, Negi, and a sprinkle of togarashi. The special chinchikurin mixing broth contains a variety of oil and spices, including sansho. There is a Hiroshima custom in eating this dish. First, mix the various ingredients at least 30 times. Feel free to add additional sansho as needed to your preference, then scarf it all down! Once all the noodles are gone, add rice to the remaining mixture and enjoy the rest of the remaining ingredients!

I like to come to the plaza where Chinchikurin is located and always wanted to try fresh Okonomiyaki.
My wife surprised me by taking us here.
We started out with some gyoza served up with a bit of yuzu paste and some ponzu sauce for dipping.
A side of karaage wich comes on a bed of shredded cabbage and Kewpie mayo.

We got their Tantamen noodle bowl and the Chinchikurinyaki Okinomiyaki.

Great place! Lauren was very patient with our dietary and allergy requests and helped us go through the menu and make recommendations! Food was great and quality of service is top notch!

We stopped by Okonomiyaki while visiting LA because we had just watched a Hiroshima-yaki video—and wow, it did not disappoint. The food was so good that we actually came back one more time before our flight out of LA.

We tried the tan tan noodles and the okonomiyaki, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on and everything tasted fresh.

On our second visit, Den was our server and really made the experience even better....
