Yummy soon always! Very nice staff. All of them are friendly and a nice group. This location can get busy but the staff are always so nice even as busy.

This was the first time dinning in this restaurant. When we walked in, we saw a sign said ‘door closed’, we thought it was rung out of business. But we overheard they are just moving to other location. The food was amazing. We ordered a hot stone bibimbap and kimchi beef tofu soup with egg. They were delicious. The banchan was very good too. I’m glad that they are only moving to other location. I will definitely go back.

The tofu soups were wonderful and the service was great. The bulgogi (beef) tasted off though. It was really gamy and it personally ruined the dish. Normally gamy meat(beef) is close to spoiling, which I believe is a big red flag when in comes to food service.Everything else was nice. My friend said that the acorn noodles were a bit too vinegary for her liking (,but that mostly is just preference).

I come here regularly for their Dolsot Bibimbap (rice and vegetables in a hot stone bowl). I ask them to hold the egg and beef and just substitute tofu. It never disappoints. I’ve also had their Japchae (glass noodles with veg) which I also ask to veganize. This is equally good. Just be careful to make sure that there’s no fish sauce or other seafood items in their other dishes.
One of my all-time favorite restaurants in the LA area. Amazing tofu soups, the banchan (side dishes) are ample and tasty. And other dishes like the Bi Bim Bop are also delicious. Such nice staff, always enjoy coming here (have been coming here for 20 years).
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. My vegan friend eats here.
Kid-friendliness: Seems good for kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking right out front. Good ramp, wide door. Accessible tables near door.

This place is perfect. Seafood & beef soon tofu with egg was great, and really good banchan (broccoli & bean sprouts especially)
Believe it or or not, Cho Dang Tofu is at its heart Korean comfort food. For $20 you can get a big hot hearty bowl of favorful tofu (with choice of mushroom, beef, pork, or dumplings, etc.) soup with all the little bowls of Korean condiments (kimchi, cabbage, cucumber, seaweed, tofu, bean spouts, etc.). If there are several meat eaters in your party you might compliment your choices of soup with an order of sweet marinated slow cooked short ribs. Very yummy in your tummy! Get there about 5 pm. If you arrive at 6 pm, there is usually an orderly line waiting to get a table.
Parking: Parking lot shared with bowling alley and neighboring shops.

I've been coming here since I was going to school in the area, and it was my mom's favorite place to eat at. Since then I've taken many friends, including travelers here, and this was their favorite place as well. You can't go wrong with their beef soon tofu (pictured), which comes with the appetizers. Meal delivery is pretty quick, and the staff are always very nice.
Reasonably priced and nice staff. Food is always delicious and we get served pretty quickly.

Delicious Korean tofu soup of all combinations that also comes with a healthy array of sides to make it taste a little better. Def will come again!
It was my first time here today and already thinking about when I can go back! They are right between the bowling alley and Trekkers. Plenty of parking too. As you park and start walking towards the restaurant, you can smell the amazing food! I got the Mushroom Soon, which they offer a vegetarian style. It was soooo good!
It’s crazy how little this place has changed in the past 20 years. I started coming here in 1998 and the menu is still basically the same. All the Soon Tofu soups are fantastic and come with all the traditional sides. Also if you are vegan / vegetarian then you should try the Dotolee Bibimguksoo which is made up of cold acorn noodles that remind me of Japanese soba noodles but nuttier tossed with vegetables.
The price for the tofu bowl is still reasonable. The service is wonderful. I will go back again.
Surprisingly great taste of soon-tobu place... ban-chans were pretty decent too. Will have to come back to try other items....
