They replaced this location with a sushi restaurant. It's not very good and the staff are unfriendly. It would've been alright if they kept selling what they were known for, the walnut pastries..

Cocohodo is a Korean Coffee and Walnut Pastry shop. They serve delicious beverages that range from regular and iced coffees, assorted teas, boba drinks, even virgin mojitos and very many smoothie options! Seriously, the smoothies are super legit!!! They have Vegetable , Fruit , Sweet , Power & Healthy drink smoothies!! You really must try one! Also grab some of their one-of-a-kind walnut pastries with a mildly sweet red bean paste. Best when served warm. Its a must-try, and there are many purchasing options. They work great as gifts! They sell Dippin' Dots as well! The fun never stops here great atmosphere to chill with friends, take your parents out, or even a first date! The prices & quality are better than Starbucks in my opinion. Place is very neat and clean and has a very cute aesthetic. Fun Fact: There was even a scene from a Hollywood movie shot here on location!!! The movie is Hello, My Name is Doris, starring Sally Field. The staff here are very polite and will always craft your drink with love and care. The woman who owns this little slice of Korea is one of the sweetest ladies and always has a smile that shines through even with her mask on Shop is located on Sepulveda Blvd going east towards Crenshaw Blvd.

Mom and pop bakery specializing exclusively in Hodu-gwaja. The name most closely translates to "walnut cake" in English, but these little treasures are much more than that. Golden, buttery cake enrobes a layer of silky, sweet red bean paste, with a roasted walnut halve in the center. A Korean Ferrero Rocher, if you will. The recipe is a Korean tradition, first developed in the 1930's during the Japanese forced occupation. Cocohodo sells the classic pastries by bags of 10, 20, or 30, as well as in larger gift boxes. The elderly woman working was friendly and polite. They also offer unique specialty beverages. The Sea Salt Coffee was strong and distinctly salty, but the Coco Latte stole the show. My boyfriend ordered this, expecting it to be a Mocha (it is not). Creamy and sweet without being cloying, the nutty flavors of the coffee shined through the condensed milk. Definitely order this-it pairs perfectly with the hodu-gwaja. Highly recommended.

These little walnut pastries have changed my life. I came across these little Korean pastries several years ago. Home made, so the bar was set very high. I didn't know what they were called, so i went for years without another taste, until i happened to come across Cocohodo in Garden Grove. The GG store has since closed, but happened to run into the Torrance location on accident. My world is complete again.

The perfect harmony of red bean and crunch all in one! I love how it's not too sweet and not bland. Always been one of my top favs!COVID: All staff was wearing masks, friendly and attentive from start to finish. Definitely coming back to try Parking was easy with tons of open space and I saw a security guard patrolling also.

The Walnut/Red-bean Pastries are so delicious! Super fresh when you come-in early! I saw a few people leaving & it was definitely drizzling. I decided to visit and grab coffee + pastries after class one day. The morning was silent, except for a few people whom were studying, but I do remember they have WiFi for a limited time.I decided on Combo B: 2 Coffees + 9 Pastries for my mother and myself (Treat Yourself)! Turns out she also ventures here from time to time! Their coffee is now provided by Klatch, which is one of my favorite locations in RB/Torrance area! The pastries are light, fluffy, and warm to the touch. They are not overly sweet and compliments the coffee very well. Each pastry is individually wrapped & you may order a gift box per your liking!

I bought my brother to a doctors appointment nearby and decided to look on yelp to find some place to explore. I ran into cocohodo and wow was I happy. This little store is so cute and the people who work here are extremely nice. I talked to the woman for awhile I was only going to get a box of 4 until she told me I might want a few more if I was sharing. She was right! These little treats are so delicious and so addicting. There are whole walnuts in the batter and the red bean filling on the inside is so smooth. I got a box to go and they were nice and warm. I sat in my car and are about 5 before I headed back to my brother. I picked him up, showed him these and we continued to polish the rest of them off. These are so addicting and perfect with coffee, I now see why they sell coffee there too. These aren't too sweet so you can really eat a lot of them. When I'm back visiting again I for sure will be coming back here.

This place doesn't have everything listed on their site. Went for Boba and their selections were very limited. Walnut pastries were tasty, but not a lot aside from that. I was looking forward to treating myself to Boba tea. I didn't even finish it.
