Cuppies Delicious Cupcakes

Order at your own risk.I visited Cuppies, 3525 Pacific Coast Hwy, Torrance, CA 90505, on Friday, July 1, 2022, and was charged to sample their vegan cake and vegan icing flavors ($18.75). During that same visit on Friday, July 1, 2022, I placed an order and paid for a 7-inch 3-tier vegan cake ($75.00) and an additional 12 vegan cupcakes ($56.00) for pick-up at 11:00 am, on July 10, 2022 - I requested and was charged for fresh fruit on the cupcakes (extra $10.00) and butterflies/flowers to be added to the cake (extra $20.00). And, I requested a golden "2" candle ($1.50). Total Paid on July 1, 2022: $181.25.***There is a character limit, so long story short: I went to pick up my order and it had been cancelled.***On Monday, July 11, 2022, I checked my credit card statement and there was a refund processed on Sunday, July 10, for $96.50 (the price of the cake, the extra paid for decorating the cake, and the cost for the "2" candle we didn't receive). Clearly, that refund was processed AFTER I had been at the store on Sunday begging the counterperson to give me SOMETHING to serve our guests. If the refund had been processed prior to my arriving at their store it would have been for the cost of the cake AND the cupcakes - the refund was processed AFTER I left their store because they didn't refund me the price of the cupcakes I had ordered.I was repeatedly lied to. I called the store on Monday, July 11, 2022, and spoke with Cuppies' manager. She repeatedly told me that their cake decorator was in the hospital and that no one else in the store could decorate a cake. She told me that she had instructed her employee to call me to cancel the order. She went on to say that managers don't work on the weekends. I told the manager that while I was at the store on Sunday I saw other orders were packaged and ready to be picked up and I saw a case filled with iced cupcakes. When I mentioned that I saw that OTHER orders were at the store on Sunday packaged and ready to be picked up the manager told me that another employee ices the cupcakes, but that person could not assemble a cake. Then, why were my pre-ordered cupcakes not ready for me? Why didn't Cuppies offer to substitute the pre-paid cake with cupcakes?The manager clearly did not understand that HER disorganization and mismanagement at HER store resulted in my not serving cake at my daughter's second birthday party and caused me unnecessary delays in receiving 12 cupcakes that I had also pre-ordered and paid for in advance.I contacted my charge card company and have disputed ALL the charges Cuppies placed on July 1, 2022. And, I'm here to tell you that The Trim Tart is right around the block from Cuppies and they have vegan items on their menu. Unfortunately, The Trim Tart is not open on Sundays, so prepare in advance. I thought I prepared in advance by placing my order with Cuppies, but this was clearly a mistake. Cuppies denied that they did anything wrong - so, it was *MY* mistake my daughter didn't have cake at her 2nd birthday party.Learn from *MY* mistake and don't count on Cuppies. And, watch them blame ME in their response to this review.

I love that they have vegan options and I try the red velvel flavor and its so delicious

Had a real craving for delicious homemade cupcakes and I knew exactly where to go! I The cupcakes are always moist and delicious; the frosting is so fresh and despite looking heavy, tastes light and fresh. Most recently, I had lemon white chocolate (pictured) but have had red velvet, lemon, etc. All are yummy!

Cuppies is the last name in cupcakes! If you haven't been, you simply must try the Hot Cakes and Bacon cupcake!

These cupcakes are made daily, extremely moist and made with finest ingredients. The best cupcakes in the southbay area. Our family always order them for all parties and special events.

I was craving a cupcake today, I found Cuppies and I bought 2, cookies and cream and the peanut butter chocolate. They were amazing! Highly recommend!

Natalie was absolutely amazing helping me organize a cake to be delivered for a birthday while I was all the way in Los Angeles. She was incredibly communicative, and created a cake that truly blew me away. Overall an incredibly positive and professional experience, and will definitely use her again!

Sone of the best cupcakes in the area and a family favorite. We always load up on the strawberry with a strawberry butter cream frosting. They offer many flavors and some mini versions, which are great if you only want a bit of something sweet. Highly recommended.
