Da Maat moved a few doors down and is now Jang Su Jang. Check them out - same owners, same staff, yummy food.

The original Da Maat is closed and moved to the corner unit with different name , it’s newly renovated, good side dishes , but the tofu soup is slightly off compare to the last time visited .

They are now the new Jang Su Jang a few doors down. Food is still delicious with a lot of different dishes to choose from. I got the Yookejang Kalguksoo spicy beef hand torn noodles. Broth is delicious and noodles are nice and chewy. My son got the Beef Bulgogi that was also very good. This is my second time and they definitely didn't disappoint.

9/20/23: about 2:10 pm. Restaurant about empty. Nobody Korean looks at me, so obviously no greeting nor eye contact. Then a Hispanic busboy was sent to my table, who asks, “Want tea”. No offer of Oksusu-cha, and when I ask a steel cup with ice falling off the rim is brought. I ask a question about bibimbap & house specialty, the poor kid struggles with answers. NO KOREAN, except dealing with White & Korean/ Asian tables.I wasn’t dressed like a bum: to the contrary Designer Jacket/ Glasses SO ALL I CAN THINK IS MY COLOR & FACE. Da Maat if you do not like Indians then post a sign! I left but insults like this destroy reputation and business because there’s no forgiving Racism.

Da Maat is a comfy Korean restaurant with a wide variety of options. Overall, the food is pretty good and better than many of the other Korean food options in the area. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming, with the dark wood paneling everywhere making the place feel almost rustic. There always a decent sized crowd, even on weekdays. The service here is kind and helpful.I went with a group and we got the bossam for two and galbitang. The bossam was refreshing, but not anything mind blowing. The galbitang was clean tasting and nourishing. The side dishes here are great and the staff are good about refilling them too.

I was sad when Cho Dang closed, but they have temporarily moved to this location since they are owned by the same folks I heard. I love their seafood pancake and soon tofu!

We love Da Maat, they have wide varieties of excellent food, it's our go-to Korean restaurant in the area. They are closing and moving a few doors down this week! It will have a new name and be the first shop in the mall. The new name is Jang Su Jang, like their sister store in the Bay Area. We are looking forward to the new store and hoping it gets an even wider menu like the Bay Area store!

Strong 4.5/5Bossam for one, dumping soon tofu, seafood pancake too.Bossam includes radish, lettuce stem/head cut separately depending on if you want crunch vs delicate. Along with thinly and nicely cut pork belly. I love this meal. Even without all the other sauces or sides that come with places that specialize in bossam, it was beautiful in it's simplicity. Dumpling soon tofu - very good. Flavors are more developed than your BCD, dumplings are absolutely good. They're a cool circular shape, it came with 4 and an egg, overall quite good.Seafood pancake, very good too. It's thicker, holds together somewhat good, and is packed well with veggies and seafood. Thicker than your usual pancake and not as charred either - I really liked this

I had an amazing experience here! So I was hosting an event and wanted to order their food for the event. They helped me pre order my food and the day of, I came early and they were prepping early morning- before they were even open. The grandma that was there was really nice and packed all the meat, rice, side dishes, and utensils for me. Their meats are very fresh and they marinate it well! The inside is very spacious and has a cozy vibe. This would be a good place to hang out with friends and have some soju or a beer. I would definitely come back here to eat. Price wise, they are on the pricier side but for the quality of the food, I believe it's worth it.
