Dave & Buster's Torrance

Made a reservation and I arrived 15 minutes early and was told the area was getting ready to close and I could go and seat anywhere but there I didn't understand why I was able to make a reservation in the first place if it was closed

Made a reservation but had to sit at the bar. Dining was closed. Music was so loud i couldn't hear the person sitting next to me.

I suppose I really didn't have high expectations but was hoping to be proven wrong. The dining area lacks comfort, service and food quality. Hostesses were not friendly or approachable and the service was extremely slow and everyone seemed unknowledgeable but our specific server was nice. Two burgers came out completely wrong, although definitely not the fault of the server. Felt as though they took one burger back, wiped off the wrong toppings and replaced the bottom bun as one came back right away and the one ordered without cheese took forever to remake. What should've been a 1-1.5 hour dinner experience turned into three by the time we finalized the bill for subpar food.

My son enjoyed games. Big claw seemed rigged. Claw did not have a bend. Just straight. Food was hot and tasted good.

I recently visited Dave & Buster's for the first time, excited to enjoy the atmosphere and watch Game 3 of the Dodgers. While I appreciated the vibrant environment and the quality of the food, I wanted to share some concerns regarding the service I received.

After ordering drinks and food, I requested glasses of water from our server. Unfortunately, after she acknowledged my request, she tended to other tasks and did not return with the water. It was only later that another server checked in and I mentioned my earlier request, but it seemed there was a lack of follow-up from the initial server.

I believe effective communication among staff is crucial for providing a great guest experience, and I felt that this situation could have been handled better. I appreciate the other server's willingness to assist, but it would have been helpful if my original request had been fulfilled.

I made a reservation one week in advance for 9 people. On the night of our event, I received a text from the restaurant 1 hour before our reservation saying the restaurant is full so they didn't hold our reservation and we would have to try to find seats at the bar. I begged them not to do this as we were coming there after a family event and had young children with us. They said, the bar was the only option we had. So we had no choice but to go to another D & B Location who felt bad about our situation so they gave us a reservation and accommodated us just 30 minutes before we arrived.

While dining in, a young asian man appeared timid to serve my friends an i. His hands were shakey giving us menus, He even went as far as to ask for our IDs which was not the problem, the problem was he scratched on, flicked, gently bended and held our IDs up to the light like a counterfeit bill... In the middle of ordering he went to grab another server, she looked confused about the switch but they switched anyway. The entire night we were there (3hrs) he was seen serving everyone else, though he said his shift was ending. Overall an uncomfortable experience
