Wonderful service. Our waitress, Candy, was excellent. Food was delicious and servings were large portions. Bread basket was unique and delicious. We had the beets and the fig NY steak which was cooked to the temperature we asked. Our only critique was that the homemade ice cream was a little too icy as if it may have had freezer burn. The presentation on everything was beautiful. We will come back again with friends.

Went with the family to Depot for Christmas Eve dinner and unfortunately had a bad experience with their food tonight. We ordered steaks. The filet mignon was raw and tasteless. We ordered medium well and received rare. Had to send back a few times before getting it right. We decided to try the desserts and they didn’t disappoint. The lemon tart and chocolate cake were delicious. We won’t be going back for dinner for holidays as we felt the kitchen might have become a bit overwhelmed with orders. I would recommend going here during regular days as the food can be good.

I planned a Memorial event for my mom at the Depot in Torrance and I can't say enough about how wonderful and accommodating they were throughout the entire process, which made it easier on me to wrangle while also mourning the loss. From the first time I called Chef Michael to inquire about possibly hosting an event he was incredibly kind, empathetic and straightforward on how to arrange for an event. On the day of the event, the Kimono room was set up and clean, and when we had several unexpected guests, the staff quickly set up an extra table for them and were incredibly kind with impeccable service. The meal was family-style with a variety of things so people could pick and choose what they wanted. I didn't get to eat much of my meal as I was up and down trying to coordinate people, but I did enjoy a delicious croissant type of roll and the pumpkin or squash soup which I thought was delicious.Asit relates to events, they have easels you can use, and microphones for speaking, and the cost to host the event is solely for the food and beverage, there is no cost for the room and you have your own private space for an extended period of time. The chef also came around and spoke to guests during the luncheon which made it feel really special.I also want to call out Brett who was our main host and led the servers during the lunch who was personable, kind, patient, funny and really made the luncheon special.I appreciate the Depot and all they did to support us at this time and would 100% consider hosting another event there in the future (hopefully something unrelated to the loss of a family member.)

Michael the owner is always present to make sure everything is perfection!In my opinion the added bonus about this restaurant is the Art Deco design inside. My favorite!!!Parking: Huge lot!
