This place used to be a DING TEA franchise. After defranchising, hiking up the prices while subsequently lowering the quality of ingredients, this place is NOT it anymore. I really want to love it, but quite frankly I can not justify my patronship to this establishment. FFS they were selling tacos last time I went on the corner like tf? The menu is blatently copying what ding tea used to be and its kind of just sad. :(P.S. The 19 year old youngster called me a slur after I placed my order. I bet he was a part of the youth takeover at del amo!P.P.S. I just looked at the website associated with the store. They sell "maca root sex tea"???? What is that? Why is it 70 dollars, discounted to 15 dollars, and why is it not on the menu? Maybe I could surpass my opinion of drinks and tasteless tea if they followed through on their promise and sold Maca Root Sex Tea. Just a quick afterthought. I will NOT be giving my business to DT for the time being. May come around and try the sex tea if it ever comes on the menu. Cheers.

Wait a minute... is it Ding Tea or "Drinks and Tea," or both? Regardless, this boba shop keeps it simple and offers a solid drink option for those that want boba in the area. They have all of the classic drinks you can think of at any boba shop. You can select your tea base, flavor syrup, and milk of choice. They offer some plant-based milk options which was great for me. I went with an Oolong milk tea and it was made well by the boba barista. Not much to say other than it delivers on what it offers. Quick service, easy parking available in the plaza, and I was set.

Matcha Slush's 30% Sweet was just the right amount of sweetness and the matcha flavor was strong and delicious! When I made Oat Milk with House Special Latte's 30% Sweet, the overall taste was a bit strange, like coconut?

We ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea, House Milk Tea, and the Lychee Black Tea. All of the drinks were watered down and disappointing.

The place seems nice and is well-located, but the service varies depending on the staff. Sadly, my recent visits weren't good. It's tough to order drinks, especially a simple Milk Tea without dairy. They say it's not Milk Tea without their special non-dairy powder, labeling it a 'black tea latte.' This confusion has happened before with other drinks. Also, the smoothies have too many ice chunks and need better blending. The drinks often taste weak and don't have much tea flavor, which is really disappointing. Despite these issues, the ambiance is still quite inviting and trendy.

Ambiance is cool. Location is great. Service is decent, some days better with different staff. Last 3 visits have been disappointing. Ordering seems to be complicated, for a not-so-complicated order. i.e. Milk Tea boba with a substitute of anything non dairy. Milk tea supposedly doesn't exist without ordering their non-dairy powder ‍being corrected that it's not a milk tea boba I'm ordering with oat milk, but rather "a black tea latte" ..ok? This happened with other drinks in the past. Also...please blend the smoothies out more, as they're too chunky with ice. Without ranting much longer, I'll just save myself the trouble and visit a different boba shop, this visits on me. Miss Ding Tea being here.

The plan was to treat my aunt and uncle to a movie (popcorn and movie treats and all) down the street, but that plan tanked when we got there and learned the entire complex had a power outage. I couldn't get them to do something else, but the one thing they mentioned was to get boba. They also mentioned they liked this place, and that's how we ended up here. First thing I looked for: wintermelon. SCORE! Got that with grass jelly. Auntie got Thai iced tea with boba. Uncle got a strawberry drink. I like that they asked if we prefer our drinks with more/less ice and more/less sugar. I told our server we'll take their drinks as they normally make it. (If it needs tweaking, that'll be for next time!) Uncle and auntie liked their usuals. I enjoyed mine as well. This is the 2nd time I've tried grass jelly and I'm really getting into it. Refreshing on a warm SoCal night! DRINKS: 5. For the winter melon tea + grass jelly. SERVICE: 4. Not a lot of interaction, but above average. VALUE: 3. PARKING: Private lot located at the back. OVERALL: 4. Good first run. I might make another stop next time I head to their house. :)

Now that they have changed to DT drinks and tea, we will not be back. The Thai Tea is gross now! So disappointed, we loved it when it was Ding Tea! The service was great but, unfortunately that doesn't matter when you're product is no good.

I liked this place when it used to be Ding Tea. Now, not so much. Drinks and Tea is in a plaza along Crenshaw and Sepulveda, near T Mobile and Super Cuts. Parking is narrow and limited, but it's not too much trouble finding a close spot. This location was originally a Boba Loca when I was growing up. Ding Tea was an improvement, but I would rarely go because I always preferred the one in Gardena. Saw that the name changed and decided to check it out. The front of the store has a few tables and counter-high stools. The back of the store (closest to the street) has additional seating. Some of the walls were decorated with murals, which were nice to look at. The menu has your typical milk teas, slushies, coffees, iced teas, and juices. But they do have a couple of flavors you don't come across too often like chamoy slush or pandan milk tea. They still have golden boba available as a topping. Other additions include crystal boba, jellies, and cheese foam. Mango Slush was refreshing. Thai Tea tasted fairly artificial. The Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea... I already knew it was going to be a bad drink before I took a sip. No tea flavor whatsoever, and the puree at the bottom was too sweet. The texture of the boba was on the hard side. If you're a fan of the Ding Tea franchise, visit their shops in Lomita, Carson, or Hawthorne.

Don't know how they've got 4.5 stars on the reviews. I ordered house milk tea and couldn't finish even a half. I feel like I drink something that has chemicals.

I'm always looking for and trying new boba places. Today, my girl was next door getting a hair cut and D and T was next door so I decided to check them out. The greeting when I walked in was friendly and welcoming. I stood for about 5 minutes looking over the menu, specifically looking for a specific drink but no luck. When I asked all I was told is they don't have it. Other places call it a Frosty Milky but when i mentioned it they just said, They don't have nothing like it yet I saw everything for it on the menu but they couldn't make it, maybe they don't have a blender? All.it consisted of was a blended milky, with pudding atop boba on the bottom with chocolate. Needless to say I didn't get that, maybe someday they will be able to make it. So instead I got a Taro Milk tea with boba, they used golden boba which was really good. The girl did apologize that they didnt have the drink I inquired about. I'd go back, the boba was fresh, soft and very tasty, the service was good just wish they made my favorite drink

Tried the house milk and oolong milk teas with grass jelly. Unfortunately, both tasted watered down with hardly any discernible tea presence.Underwhelmed and will not be returning.

Today was warm for a spring Saturday, so we decided to come in for some boba as we were running some errands. Boba was delicious, I got the brown sugar milk tea and my boyfriend ordered the mango slush with boba. Though, while ordering the cashier was rude, rushing us, and not so friendly. There was no one in front of us or behind us for her to be hurrying us to order. The place itself looked clean.

Clean kitchen area, their drinks are ? and are made in a reasonable time.Their murals on the walls seem to change a lot? But that might just be me. Who cares, they are pretty paintings

No longer Ding Tea, I'm not sure if it was intentionally named and branded to closely resemble Ding Tea (which was the previous location name) but the drinks are not comparable. The milk teas were bland, the coffees were excessively sweet or very bitter taste. Very dissapointed, pictures of previous ding tea location are still posted despite the drinks not being offered and a completely different establishment all together.
