I should have read reviews first. Not worth the price. The food's IK (it doesn't stand out), but the waitress kind of had an attitude (like I was supposed to have the menu memorized beforehand), then they gave giant round chips that are impossible to dip. No garbage can anywhere, so I just left.

I LOVE El Burrito Jr., have been eating there for years but never at this location. I was extremely disappointed, the food was awful. Rice was dry with no flavor & the refried beans were like wallpaper paste. Nothing had much flavor. I will stay away from this location & continue to enjoy the others. Would not recommend at all.

Their food is bomb diggity... The special c is my go to... But the chicken enchiladas are also bomb... The employees are very accommodating. I have been to most of the other burrito jr. spots and this is my favorite. The others lack hospitality and customer service... The PCH and Hawthorne spot is in point 👌🏼

I called in a to go order at 815pm. I picked it up at 840pm. The order was 2 #24 burrito dinners, both with steak. After I paid and gave a $2 tip for a total price of $38, when I got home, there was only one #24 in the bag. The burrito was bland as well, so I felt like I was taken advantage of twice. It's not worth my time to get a refund, but I definitely will never be back to this LBJ location!

This is a small restaurant with outstanding food. A neighborhood hole in the wall place. Our family eats here frequently.

Not sure what happened but the bean and cheese burritos used to be great portions especially for the $ even though cost had gone up in the past few years. Today two burritos had less filling than one used to.
The chip portion was also cut in half(although they are free so no complaints with that)
I’ve been going to all the locations for years and this was the first time I felt like I was ripped off.
Quality is still awesome but when you raise prices and reduce portions it’s like a big middle finger.

If you're heading up the hill and you're craving some Mexican fare, this is the spot to stop. Great food, excellent service, and relaxing atmosphere. I recommend the chile relleno.

Smaller portions than other el burrito and they were out of carnitas when we went. Carne asada wasn’t the juiciest but still a good meal in general. The other El Burrito Jr is better
