One of the best restaurants in Torrance. Their picante tofu is drool worthy and one to die for. Been eating here since 2010 and the quality of food has been the same, if not better. Their portion sizes are big enough and very satiating

The chicken was moist and tasty. The sides were enough to feed us all.

When I lived in RPV 10 years ago, this was one of my favorite spots. I recently came back to SoCal for a visit and had to return, nothing had changed. It felt nostalgic and timeless. The lomo saltado and aguadito soup are still my go-to and just as incredible as I remembered. Can’t wait to come back again!

Disappointed on the food, Lomo Saltado the plate should have been called plato de Cebolla Y Papa, bc there was only like three sicles of beef. The appetizer Papa huancaina was served at the same time as main dishes, it was frozen.

I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid, all the way into adulthood. I walked in today and saw only two servers working. We sat for 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us—no greeting, no bread, no water. Then a large party walked in after us and was immediately served bread and water.
It felt discriminatory, and the experience was extremely disappointing. We ended up leaving without eating, and honestly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I was served old tallarin verde it was brown and tasted disgusting, I go to the other locations all the time and I've never had that happen. The waiter was nice and got them to make a fresh batch for me but now my stomach hurts. Hawthorne location has really gone down hill.

Very consistent food, seasoned to perfection, very generous portions, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. I'm there atleast once a week for over 20 years.
My favorites are Col de Pollo (cabbage with chicken) and or, vianitas de pollo ( green beans with chicken) and the cilantro chicken soup... I cant get enough! Its a MUST try! Also, you can try these amazing dishes well done for that extra boost of flavor.

The fish filet is small and bready.
Vegetarians cannot swap out the included chicken soup with a small salad without an additional $2. Bread is stale and dry. The bathroom is over 30 years old, dingy, poor ventilation and chemically masked. We have been going here for over 20 years. Quality seems to be heading downhill with smaller portions.

I did take out. I prefer the express drive thru location over this location. The food here wasn't great. The chicken was overcooked and small, the salad didnt have any dressing, the garlic rice was bland.
