I’m telling you now - save yourself the money and time and go to the Fullerton Goobne location. Unlike this location, they have a wonderfully crispy chicken with an amazing crust.
I decided to venture out to this new location and waited 30 minutes to receive a subpar chicken that was char-grilled to make up for its lack of crispy texture.
Finally, I believe there was only one employee working there at the time. Just as a note to the owner, I don’t believe that’s a good practice for a busy restaurant. It’s unfair to the employee to manage so many things at once, and it results in subpar quality food.

I made a 6:30 PM pickup reservation with Uber Eats at 4:30 PM, but it wasn't until 6:20 PM that I received a notification telling me to change my order because the ingredients were out. I also received a notification that cooking had started at around 5:30 PM, but I was embarrassed to receive this notification 10 minutes before pickup.
What was even more embarrassing was that I went to the store at the original pick-up time, and the first thing the employee said was “I am working on it.” He spoke in a very irritated tone and kept saying that it was Uber's problem and not his problem. It's not a consumer problem...
So I asked to call a manager, but there was no manager and I thought he was taking orders and cooking by himself. They told me they hadn't started ordering yet, so I asked when it would be, and they said sarcastically that it would take 35 minutes (if I can) if I tried.
I don't think I would have been this angry if I had said the reason for the delay in a non-sarcastic tone. In fact, because I complained, he canceled my $100 order without my consent, saying he couldn't cook the food due to his “attitude.”
It's probably not the employee's fault that there was a problem with the store's Uber Eats notification, but I don't think that's something the employee should take out their anger on me. As someone who was notified by Uber Eats that the food ordered would be 30-40 minutes later than the pick-up time, I don't understand the employee's attitude.
No matter how much I think about it, the delay is like this, so I can easily respond by saying that I will do it if I just wait a little bit, or in other ways, but I am disappointed in my response. Even though I was thinking about skipping it, I couldn't. This is my first time leaving a 1-star Google review.
I can't leave a food review. The order was canceled without consent. It was a truly disappointing response in many ways. I don't think I'll ever go again.

The Pepper Crispy chicken flavor has been disappointing lately. What used to be a standout dish has noticeably declined in quality. The spice level of the peppers has significantly decreased, and the once vibrant, spicy sauce now tastes bland and uninteresting. The heat from the peppers that used to give this dish its kick has almost completely disappeared. To make matters worse, the sauce portion has been reduced by half. It feels like the restaurant is cutting corners, sacrificing the bold flavors that originally made this dish special. Sadly, this isn't the same product I used to love and recommend.

Good place for tteokbokki
Service was a bit slow. Only customer there and it probably shouldn't take THAT long to cook it.
Food itself was good, not over or under done, right amount of spice. Larger portion size than I typically get

8 pieces, 1 wing and 7 drumsticks. That alone is reason enough to never come back.
Also, mandatory electronic tipping screen even for takeout? When is this ridiculous tipping trying going to end. Overpriced food and shameless request for tip.
Very overpriced, takes a long time, and lacks flavor.
I got a medium box, that's price at about $20 and it comes with eight wings, and so that is very expensive piece per wing. Out of the eight pieces one is a wing, and seven pieces are drumsticks. Everyone knows wings are the most price part of the chicken (it's literally the most expensive to buy per pound) and this place has zero shame in giving literally one.
Stay far away, there are hundreds of better Korean chicken places in the South Bay area.

Outrageously overpriced, average wings. If you’re seeking traditional style Korean chicken wings then these are not them. Just go to Wingstop and pay a fraction of the price for the same wings.

Got the galbi chicken rice bowl. Worth it. It was good, like a much better version of the flame broiler chicken bowl. Would get again.

If you don't know this fried chicken restaurant. Your life is incomplete.
My husband ordered spicy and sweet chicken wings and ttukboki for us to share. After waiting for about 25 minutes, we asked about the order's status since my husband had a meeting. The person was nice and said it was coming up. We took it home, which took about 30 minutes. The chicken was still warm, crispy, and delicious. The ttukboki flavor reminded me of Korea 50+ years ago, just like the ones I used to eat near my old school. It was so worth the wait.. Their chicken is better than the one at the BBQ place in HMart. My husband loved the food, and we're already planning our next visit. We forgot to take pictures of the food ?
