I arrived at the hospital at 9 AM finished my labs and cat scan by 1:00 waited for a Doctor until 9 PM and never saw a Doctor these People are so inconsiderate I finally had to leave and go home these.people are inconside to people that are in severe pain I finally had to leave

Stay away from ER. Terrible service. Bad Service. The worst. My mom waited all day and they didn't even help her with her blood pressure. Please stay away from this place. No empathy for patients. She waited for over 12hrs and not even draw blood to see what she had. They didnt help her. Just had her sitting around and didnt care about her health or needs. I know ER is always busy. But this one is something else. The worse. If I could ill give it 0 ?

Warning warning warning They now have valet parking like finding parking wasn't bad enough. Now what was once free parking is now for valet only so you have to park blocks away. Handicap was used by cars with no Handicap placards, and the hospital does nothing about it. When i told security they said it's not they're problem. The hospital staff will steal your belongings and act like it's your fault they took your stuff. I was misdiagnosed at the hospital. Wait time's are horrible. Warning ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️

So far I'm reasonably happy with through put and logistics, as a patient.What does about me, I would like my own lab results posted to 'My Chart' so I can read them before my follow up.Recently, I did a PET SCAN for cancer. No one will post the results. I would like my doctor to release my results so I can familiarize myself, and prepare for the follow up. But no! I don't understand

I am shocked by the incompetence of this medical center. My friend had major emergency surgery there and was sent home with a 14”x3” wound, with no home health and no follow up for 2 weeks. I tried to get through to the surgeons office, an on-call doctor, or a nurse advice line, and there was none. I got ahold of a supervisor who told me the only answer if you needed any kind of help post op was to either wait for follow up or go to the ER. This lack of follow up is egregious and absolutely unethical.

My ER Experience was as smooth as could be expected. Check in was timely, the staff was super nice and efficient. Yes I had to wait, and wait, and wait to see the Doctor but the Nurses were kind and helpful in keeping me comfortable until I could be seen. Dr Kim and Dr Blackwater were attentive but unfortunately were unable to determine the cause of my pain :( I need an MRI to better assess my pain and due to my pacemaker I need special clearances... Ugh! maybe some day soon :/

Just as I wrote about my terrible experience in the emergency room in December 2023, I will write about the excellent experience I had yesterday when I attended my dermatological consultation: From the person who does the examination to enter to register at N24 SIDE C, helpful, friendly to the medical staff. The doctors specifically were empathetic and very willing to help. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Im not from California and I can’t believe it… this place needs help, bad. I can’t believe this is the level of emergency care offered in LA County when there are so many people here. The staff in the front ask questions but cut you off when you try to answer.They said my allergic reaction is probably due to the cold weather… another lady said they may not give me antibiotics but just refer me somewhere else, but I’d need to wait a few hours or more in the waiting room. Most people were waiting over 10 hours, that’s insane. They refused to hear my actual concerns. A complete business operation, no level of care at all, instead more of an urgency to get done with you and on to the next. Very sad.

I took my mom here about two weeks ago due to high blood pressure and sugar levels. She was feeling dizzy and fell a couple of times prior.I explained this to the nurses and admin the process because it was New Year's was fairly quick 4 hours.They did an EKG, Blood Work and Urinalyses. After that she sat in a hallway along with other patients to see the doctor while I waited outside.Soon after she spoke to the Doctor my mom was sent home with a suggestion to schedule an appointment with her primary physician.My mom symptoms continued she kept falling loosing balance. She attempted to schedule an appointment, but because her insurance isn't the greatest the wait time to see the Doctor was too long.After a week my mom's symptoms persisted. We then took her to St Mary's in Long Beach yesterday 1/15/24. The Doctor ran the same exact tests and noticed my mom has an enlarged heart that was leading to her dizzy spells/falling. She was admitted and put on IV and will see a neurologist today 1/16/24. Test are still be ran, but they are doing everything they can to determine what the root cause to her suffering.Harbor UCLA did not help my mom in the slightest and their neglect is something that should be addressed. To send a PT home even after a EKG which wouldve shown she developed a enlarged heart and send her home with no real direction other than schedule an appt with your primary physician is insane.

16 hour wait….which is whatever compared to everything I witnessed here. It’s too much to type! It’s truly saddening to see a place like this get any praise when it deserves nothing. I truly believe they hire ANYBODY here. I also called to for a quick question regarding my paperwork and the operator (they said they were operator 11) was actually the most miserable person I’ve ever encountered. Whew! Please go elsewhere.

Been waiting for 5 hours to see a doctor and they tell me it’s most likely going to be a 10 hour wait. I’m out of here. Worst 5 wasted hours of my life.
