The last time I was at Hof's Hut was in 1985, I was having breakfast with my then-girlfriend now my wife. We enjoyed their 3 egg omelet, let me tell you they were not playing around with how much stuff they put in those omelets, plenty of meat, plenty of veggies, and plenty of cheese! Wait, save some room for those sweet delicious desserts they have in their front counter showcase on display! Their entire menu is worth a second and third look! Enjoy yourself and always save some wrong for their delicious desserts.
We went to Hof's Hut (Torrance) with a group of 13. Had a reservation. They seated us immediately. The food was all very good. I had the Yankee Pot Roast. My wife had the spare ribs. We were not in the main restaurant but in the adjacent room...very light and bright. We had two people who spoke Japanese in our group, and our waiter (Juan) spoke a good amount of Japanese to them. He was GREAT!
Chicken pot pie was amazing..
We wanted an individual banana cream pie..
This was before six p m..
They close at ten p m..
They ran out at four p m.!!!
Poor planning
Everything was great! Thanks, Marco, for the great service. The chocolate e-claire was meh. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our dinner. Thanks, again!
Great cup of coffee. eclectic breakfast menu. Food was delicious and don't get me started on that bakery case. So much to love.

Sausage links were raw and cold. The eggs were hard and cold. The waitress Barbara was not helpful and clueless. She took them back and brought out more raw sausage and the same eggs!! She did not offer to comp the order or apologize, just rolled her eyes.
I’m disappointed because it was very good when I was a kid.
I WILL NEVER RETURN.

No quality control. On 10/6/24 I purchased a lemon meringue pie for a dinner party I was attending. There was no trace of lemon at all, the filling had no flavor. It was placed in a box so I didn’t see the pie before the hostess opened it up to serve it and it was a really ugly pie, the meringue was in the shape of a large thimble instead of a mound. Had it not been served to guests I would have brought it back. I’ll never support this location again. I always thought chefs tested their dishes, not here. The pie case had water condensation so thick that the pies could hardly be seen.
