It was honestly so good, and we need to collectively keep them in business here. No one is doing sushi-style bowls like these - ingredients were super fresh and high quality. It was 10/10 all around. There is also cute goodies you can peruse while they prepare your food fresh. So worth the wait. I will be back!

Excellent food and counter service. Got one of the craft bowls. This time got the 811 which with albacore. With all of their bowls, you can get rice or mixed greens or half if each which is my favorite. They also sell some cut Japanese bags and mug sets with cats. Hard to resist. Been here several times and everything has been very good so far especially for the price craft bowl combo is the best because with it you get to choose any of their bowls with soft shell crab (my favorite) or brussel sprouts (my wife’s favorite). Combo is only $2 more which is a great deal. People who work there are friendly too! Clean simple nice atmosphere.

This place is decent for Japanese rice bowls. I got the rainbow bowl to try out all the different variety of meats. The portions were decent sized and the food was good overall.
The staff was very nice. The store has other things they sell like chips and accessories and other things besides their main menu. Almost like a mini convenience store. The decor is all wood and typical of a place that sells this kind of food.

This restaurant was a nice little surprise. After a day at the beach we stopped by this place to try something new. We got 2 bowls and a build-your-own hand roll box. The woman working was super nice and the decor made you forget you were in the middle of LA. I wish this place wasn't so far from me.

The food was prepared quickly and the service was fast, owner was on top of things. The cafe is very clean and cute with lots of snacks and drinks for sale.
I had the salmon hand roll, which had decent tasting fish, but I really didn’t like that it’s a DIY kit. Plus, the seasoned seaweed was just a single packet of grocery market seaweed snack. If I was ordering to go, a DIY kit makes sense, but if I’m paying $15+ in store (plus tip), they need to properly roll my hand roll for me.
My kids had onigiri, which had way too much rice. The meat tasted fine but they could decrease the rice load a bit to make it easier to eat. Could also use a salmon option. My kids usually love onigiri and they were not that into this.
The curry was good with some tempura shrimp and a side salad. It’s instant curry though, so very cheap and easy to make at home.
Their fruity ice teas were good, not too sweet. Parking is easy as they have a big lot. I’d probably eat here again if I were in the area or driving by. Wouldn’t go out of my way though.

Awesome hidden gem right off of Sepulveda. Onigiri is top notch with great textured rice and flavorful fillings. Prices were all reasonable too. Can't wait to come back!

A great fast casual “sushi” spot and a wonderful addition to the South Bay! Set up for take away (perfect for sunsets on the strand or lunch at the park) with availability to dine in. Lunch or dinner, service is always quick. Fish is fresh, bowls are tasty and filling, onigiri is a crowd pleaser, and prices are good for the portions!
Staff is always amazing! Grab a draft Asahi and hot sake while you wait! Don’t sleep on this place (and don’t keep it a secret either!!)

Korean-run (I think) Japanese food place. Very nice! The rice was of good quality and price of our food was reasonable. I thought a handroll for $12.50 was terribly high but that's what my husband wanted for a quick bite so we ordered it. Good thing we did not plan on eating in the car on the way home. It turned out to be a make-it-yourself handroll kit! I was able to make 4 medium rolls using 2 of the 8 nori sheets each. So be aware it's a DIY! :) Good quality. Will definitely go back. There are some cute Japanese gifts and snacks on sale to check out while you wait for your order also
