Old-school japanese hole in the wall interior, very simple and straight forward. Servers are nice and let you take your time. Might need a little effort to get their attention sometimes but it's a small inconvenience for the quality of food.

Used to be a great place to eat. Large quality to accompany the large prices.(combos) But the quality was very "POOR"! What happened? Worst fish ever had. Oily and not fresh tasting. This is not good Japanese food.

This is a family style Japanese restaurant. Food and service is absolutely delightful. Everything from soup to sushi. Lots of choices and combinations. The waitresses there are so efficient and friendly. Expect to wait a little, but it is worth it.

Not spicy and actually more sweetNatto and sashimi - natto is not for everyone but I like it, and this is a pretty good dish

We had ramen there multiple times. Soup was tasty and extremely hot which is satisfying. My husband had the dinner specials with rolls. Overall, food quality is good. It is not too pricely either. We really enjoyed the service there.

Definitely a super special place. The fish karaage was delicious. I like eating the crispy finer bones too. Plenty for 6 of us!The spinach -which I usually skip, thinking it will be boring- was so tasty due to the black sesame paste.The octopus in the sunomono- how do they infuse so much depth of flavor? It tasted smoky, almost.My mom got an udon- my sister had a bite, which made her order one too. I tried the broth: so perfect!The mackerel and sashimi were solid dishes as wellWanted to try the ika appetizer but everyone was full from eating way more than usual. We will have to try it next time.It’s amazing how good food can elevate everyone’s mood and make us feel more bonded.Azusa was amazing. She’s one of those people whose work ethic and beautiful personality are so readily apparent.Thank you for a great experience !
