I absolutely love this restaurant—it feels like I’ve stepped straight into Japan.** It’s cute and quaint, and while the parking lot is small, I’ve always been able to find a spot (plus there’s extra parking in the adjacent lot). You really get the best of all worlds here.
We had nigiri sushi that was incredibly fresh—**especially the toro**, which they only have in limited quantities each day. If it’s available, don’t hesitate! The oysters are **to die for**—they’re on the larger side but super fresh with a buttery finish.
We also had beef tongue, fried chicken, tamago, and a few meat skewers—all fantastic. I’m a big fan of their **rich pork broth** too. Most of the staff are Japanese, which makes the experience feel even more authentic and welcoming.
They also have a great sake selection, and if you don’t finish your bottle, you can take it home. Everything is clean, and the presentation is on point. Perfect spot for **lunch, dinner, or a cozy date night!

My friends and I had a wonderful time here. Our reservation was at 7:30 on a Sunday night, and we were sat right away. The food, drinks, and service was top notch! Must order the beef tongue! So on point!
The only downside is that they close at 9:30. Kinda early for an izakaya, in my opinion.
Sorry, there are no photos. We were too busy eating and chatting it up!
Severs and staff were trying to take away our dishes even though we were not finished . They kept interrupting when we were in deep conversations . Also we were not even done with our meal and they were about 1 hour from closing with numerous empty seats and they were pushing us to leave and pay the bill . Just very service . We ordered about $200++ of food for 2 people so completely dumbfounded .
The food was great. We just felt rushed because we didn't know there would be a time limit in our dining experience. But overall it was nice. The prices were reasonable. Thank you
Best food in town ever! Welcome on board of open table platform, which made us book a table easy and comfortable
Amazing beef tongue, pork cheeks, shishito and mushrooms. Very
Great service and atmosphere
Music was low enough talk. Very polite staff. Clean bathroom.
Absolutely love the food here. When I come visit my family in LA they take us here, and I've yet to have a dish I didn't like. We always get the fried gobo, the jidori wings are really tasty, the beef tataki is some of the best I've had in the area. I tried a couple different things today the toro taku and the pressed analog, both were delicious and definitely something I'd get again. I wasn't too crazy about the Japanese potato salad with mentaiko, I feel like it needs a but more mayo. The karaage is also very tasty, and we also had some kaki fry which was very good and the crab croquettes are some of my favorite things to get here.
Overall this is one of my top places, sometimes inconsistent and service can lag a bit, but it's never been much an issue to affect my review.

This might be the best izakaya style restaurant in LA from my experience and in Torrance there can be quite a few contenders. Everyone I've brought here has enjoyed it and were all impressed by the food selection and high quality. It can get crowded because it is a bit of a hole in the wall place but you do need to make a reservation ahead of time.
In terms of the food itself, the skewers are excellent, the sashimi fresh and for those feeling a little adventurous, definitely try the motsu nabe. i know some people might feel a little shy but if you go into that dish with an open mind, you'll come out loving it because it's such a comfort food especially on a cold night.
Of course, the service is top notch too. Again, it can get crowded but the servers do their best. Overall, quality-wise, I can't really say I've had that much better in LA itself.
Great food in a nice atmosphere. I think this restaurant is specifically good if you are willing to share multiple small plates and spend a bunch of money on tasty little bites. The chicken karage was my favorite.
Perfect.
This restaurant kick us out after staying 2 and half hour. Will.never be back to this restaurant.
Attentive service, delicious food, warm and inviting atmosphere
