This small restaurant is located in a strip mall on Carson St. in old Torrance.. it was very busy and popular even on a Monday night! The food was outstanding starting with the beef salad.. it was very tasty and refreshing. Moving on the fancy sashimi was perfect.. very fresh and flavorful. Food is great but service is spotty at best. We used to come here more often but not so much because of the service. There are many great Japanese restaurants nearby so not a loss for us. The young male server is really nice but the female servers especially the older ones ignore you most of the time you're there then rush you out. Very authentic looking Izakaya right in the middle of Torrance. Loved that the beer comes with frosted cold glasses and the atmosphere is super chill. Plates were a little pricey for the size, but everything was fresh and delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
