Combining the best of two Korean restaurants, it features marvelous traditional Korean foods that are loved by many. The business is booming with a large parking lot area, including handicap spots just 30 feet from the front door. The service is wonderful, with kind and efficient waitresses, especially beneficial for newcomers.
The restaurant is popular and often packed, making the food quality evident through delightful banchan, particularly the good quality kimchi. Notable dishes include the mushroom tofu soup, vegetable dumpling soup, kimchi beef, seafood pancake, pork belly with arugula (tomsamgyub salad), bossam, LA galbi, and the Dolsot Bibimbap. The portions are generous, with the seafood pancake being a standout for its crispy edges and flavorful seafood mix. The Dolsot Bibimbap, served in a low, wide stone pot, offers a lot of surface area for crispy rice and keeps the dish warm.
The ambiance is bright and charming, evoking a sense of being in Korea with cute cut-outs of Korean words. The booths provide a sense of privacy, enhancing the dining experience. Despite a rise in prices, dishes like old-style bulgogi and the delicious tofu dish continue to make it worth visiting. The restaurant also offers vegetarian options and is kid-friendly, providing high chairs and booster seats, creating a comfortable experience for all guests, including accommodating wheelchairs. It is a great place to bring a group together for a meal or to enjoy a meal on one’s own, though it can get busy during dinner, so there may be a wait to be seated.
