We there for the first time on a Friday night and there was a good amt of people waiting. The place was packed! That is a good sign! The staff was hustling to get the tables cleaned and set up for the next guest. I appreciate that. You know you can tell if the food is going to be great by judging the banchan. The kimchi was very nice!! We ordered the seafood pancake. This was like a deep dish pancake! The was really good! A lot of different seafood in it and the edges were nice and crispy! We got the pork belly with arugula(tomsamgyub salad) it was very good as well. The sweetness of the pork belly with the bitterness of the arugula just worked. We also got the bossam and LA galbi. Everything was really good and I kept thinking while I was eating, I can't wait to go back! And the portions are really big! The ambulance was really cute. I really felt like I was in Korea! It's very bright and very cute cut out of Korean words. We got a booth and it felt very separate from the other tables. That was really nice! Looking forward to going there again!

Love this place the tofu dish is great but they used to do black rice wish they still do. The mild is spicy enough for me tofu is soft and I like their dumplings. Prices went up a lot more now, but worth it old style bulgogi is like old school sukiyaki and very delicious

I would go here when it was da maat. Now it's merged with another restaurant. Pretty much the same menu but honestly I eat the same thing every time I go. The place is much bigger and it's cute in the inside. 닭칼국수 is my favorite - and now my mom and sister are hooked too. Really good flavor and a big portion. They give you 반찬 of course and refill. Staff are very nice and friendly. Good service overall. This place has a decent sized parking space but it's other businesses there so can get crowded.

Came here for the first time during lunch. Service is quick and the food came fast. The staff were all very friendly. I tried their jang su bossam which is steamed pork. I didn't know what to expect but it was good! They offered a lot of sides to eat. I really like the service here and I'd come back again.

The food is good and comes out hot. The dumplings are outstanding. Braised short rib exactly what you expect from a braised short rib although a bit pricey at $36 a plate. The kimchi fried rice was just ok and again kinda pricey at $21 a plate. Canned soda is $5 each. Service is fast and the restaurant is bright and clean.

Service was really good - the food came fast and they continued to replenish our banchan when we finished it. Their kimchi was very good and sweet! I ordered the chicken kalguksu. The soup had good depth of flavor and was very tasty. It had shredded chicken in it which was slightly dry but still ok. I really wanted to try their naengmyun but seems it is seasonal (maybe only available in the summer?). We tried the bibimguksoo instead. The flavor of the sauce was really good but felt like half the dish was vegetables.

Ok I'm not the Asian food connoisseur so me saying this you know it's a great place to eat! The food was amazing and tasted fresh with no chemicals. We had bibimbap and a mushroom soup with beef and cabbage. They were awesome. And all the fresh veggies they provide were incredible too. Oh and the service was excellent and attentive and probably the best you will ever see! Highly recommended restaurant!!!

The restaurant is spacious and nicely set up. It tends to get crowded on weekends. The food tastes fresh. Prices fall on the medium to high end. While I believe the service could be more welcoming, the overall experience is okay.

In a plaza off Sepulveda. Takes credit card and busy during lunch time The interior was recently remodeled so it looks very welcoming. BanChan was excellent. The variety of small side dishes were all very tasty. Unlike other places that lack flavor #1 Mille Feille Nabe ($29)- it comes out over hot rocks. So it stays hot. It keeps the soup at a boil. Let the napa cabbage stew in the soup or else it will be too hard to eat. There's slices of beef in between the napa. The beef is super tough bc I think they've been boiled to make the soup stock. But boiling it longer makes it even more tough. It'd better if they used raw meat and then have it cook in the soup when they come out.

Absolutely blown away. From the service to the savory food. We got there on a Friday night and there was 7 parties ahead of us. The hostess let us know it would take 25 minutes to be seated and she was spot on. We thought for sure we'd have to wait longer with so many ppl ahead of us. They have people in and out. Now for the food- everything was delicious. From the complimentary appetizers to our actual meal. It was so comforting and packed with so much flavor. A must try!

Noodle was not fully cooked. Ordered food but the server canceled it by her own decision. Worst experience ever. Galbitang was awful.

This used to be damaat. They moved to old TLJ location and expanded the place. I really love every single dish here. We had pa jun, bulgogi, porkbelly salad, and the best chicken noodle soup. Their chicken noodle soup is better than any other noodle restaurant one. Seats are clean and service is great too. I think the restaurant is aiming for more diversity compared to old dammat. Great korean restaurant!
