Sashimi quality is excellent and high quality however service is slow for the second time. Chawamushi was great too but came at the end. Our cooked fish didn’t arrive until we were done eating. They need more ovens and/or cooks.

I went at a quite Monday night but the service was great. Food was awesome too. We were there for a long time but the server didn't bother us besides taking empty dishes and refilling drinks.

The restaurant is very spacious . And seating is somewhat hidden in the side wing of the restaurant.

Very good tempura and sashimi sets.
The rice could have been fluffier and stickier.

The yellowtail, salmon, and tuna sashimi were delicious and absolutely worth the combination set.

Tempura was very good, crispy but not too crunchy.

No complaints on miso soup. My girlfriend and I were impressed with the pickled vegetables.

Definitely recommended. We are too much and got overly full because it was so good.

All sashimi was so fresh. Grilled fish was juicy and tender. Loved everything

Love coming to this restaurant. I usually get the omakase nigiri set but this time I opted for the Toro Takuan Handroll and Salmon Ikura Uni bowl. Simply decadent

Having dinner with Izumi san and this is the place he picked and it was amazing. Uni was fantastic and sashimi also very well made. We had a very good dinner here and everyone left with a smile on their face.

Food was delicious. Service was great. But for Sushi it took too long to be delivered.

The sashimi was unfresh and tasted gross. The service was Very bad. The was only 1 other customer there when we were there, however, we had to ask the waitress several times and waited for very long time for everything we needed, such as refill the water and tea, getting a box, getting the check. On top of this bad experience, several days later, when I check my credit card statement, I found that the waitress had added more tip herslef. ABSOLUTELY SHAMELESS!!!! DISHONEST PRACTICE!! I disputed with my credit card company. I will never visit this restaurant again!!

I remember it being delicious in the past, but when I went there a few years ago, I was disappointed because even though it was a Japanese restaurant, the food was terrible. The sashimi didn't taste fresh at all.The seasoning of the boiled fish was good?I don't think I'll go again.

The food was delicious, but the sansho that came with the eel gozen had an expiry date of 2019...I was shocked at how expensive it was.
Food was good but the spice's expiration date had passed.2019!!It is expensive restaurant tho.

This Japanese restaurant in Old Torrance often allows walk-ins, making it a convenient spot for impromptu meals or after-parties. I really appreciate the atmosphere, which is conducive to staying for a long time when it's not too crowded. I recommend the sashimi and sushi. While Japanese cuisine tends to be pricey these days, the prices here feel quite reasonable.
