We have been eating at this place for years and it's always good. Today, we ordered and the BBQ chicken tasted very distinct, kind of rancid. The mac wasn't creamy as it always was. It's as if they watered-down the mayo, to save money and see their profit increase. I get it, inflation sucks but they've raised the prices. I rather pay more for them to keep serving the food, the way they used to. I didn't even finish my Regular sized meal. ?
A fantastic little eatery where I could get a great affordable meal fast and eat in or take out. The menu is expansive and authentic Hawaiian BBQ. This is a chain on the Hawaiian islands and it was nice to eat at here in Torrance. I got the pork bowl with cabbage, but they have really good mahi mahi and chicken katsu with a side of macaroni salad. Too many choices!
This is truly a culinary hidden gem. The young lady we placed our order with answered our questions and gave us some great suggestions. We choose 2 combo plates ($17.95 ea). We were shocked to receive 2 large boxes with at least a full pund of meat in each. There was also shredded cabbage salad, rice, and the best mac salad I think I have ever had. The young lady came by our table to see how we were doing and spent a few minutes chatting with us.When we were to stuffed to eat another morsel, we still had enough food to stuff one box to take home. Amazing quality, service, and flavor. This restaurant should not be overlooked.
Hawaiian fast food, always prompt service and always plentiful and tasty food. The prices have been adjusted for inflations just like everyone else, see pictures below for prices as of 10/2023.Tips: for dinner, we usually order BBQ Beef Ribs and BBQ chicken plates. As we are not a fan of the macaroni salad, so we ask to replace it by just cabbages and rice. With our own favorite dressings, it makes a pretty balanced meal.
When I want chicken katsu, this is my go to place. Sometimes I venture out of my usual but it's mainly katsu & spam musubi. The regular plate gives me 2-3 meals so it's worth the price. I notice this place had a picture of a Ramen burger. I'll have to give that a try. L & L is not really the dining experience as they have a few tables at this place but mostly do take out. Same with Gardena.

The food is all really good and there's a lot of variety. You also don't have to wait that long to get it. The decorations are Hawaiian themed, and the restaurant itself looks super cool. The aloha ramen is really good.
