The restaurant was closed BUT the lady had a stand out front selling carnitas. Very good, homemade tortillas and great customer service. Don’t mind the area, just enjoy good food.
I went to La Placita restaurant tonight for authentic Mexican, and I really enjoyed the food and my experience there. The lady behind the counter, Rosalina, was so friendly and helpful. I ordered a bowl of their chicken soup, which was huge, and 4 caritas tacos special. The chicken soup was excellent... so flavorful and delicious. The chicken was "fall off the bone" tender, the potato and zucchini was melted in your mouth, and all the herbs, like cilantro and spices,...
Found this little cute place after reading the review. My family and I just finished our lunch at a nearby ramen place but decided to grab something small to try. (Meaning we weren't fully satisfied with the ramen portions! ?) The owner only knows minimum English but she was super friendly.
