Came for dinner with my wife before watching a movie nearby at the AMC. We ordered immediately after being seated but our food took forever to come out. We saw people who were seated and ordered after us getting their food before us. They seemed like they were pretty short staff since this was a Thursday showing instead of a weekend when we usually come.

Additionally the portions and seasoning seemed much smaller than usually for the salt and pepper tofu and string beans.

The only positive was the young Hispanic man who came by to check on us with water and got our bill to us fairly quickly so we tipped him cash in his hand.

The hostess at the front took care of billing me, I selected no tip as I already tipped the young man , and she asked “oh did you leave a tip?”

Needless to say we won’t be coming back or visiting Lunasia anymore

While in town visiting parents, did the dim sum brunch here. Ordering from the phone via a QR code is neat, there is something to be said about the nostalgia of having a cart of dishes to choose from circulating the restaurant.

Food was excellent. It was a little confusing at 1st since they've done away with physical menus and use a QR code, but once they let us know we ordered the veggie vermicelli noodles, half order Peking duck, spinach shrimp dumplings, pork bao buns and crispy shrimp rolls. Along with hot tea and water. Very tasty, nice portions, we ordered pork buns to go and we had leftover duck and shrimp rolls.

Food was superb, especially the dumplings. Service was fast . But one of the staff was quite serious, cranky, not smiling, did not greet you at all upon entering the door, and had an attitude. Everything should have been perfect, except this. She could have smiled, at least, to show that customers were welcome. She plainly pointed to the table where we can seat , w/out saying anything.

This new dish of seafood stir fried was really greasy and doesn’t come with much content. Just squids and a bit of fried taro. So really should be called squid stir fried. Recommend restaurant to take the dish off menu as it’s not really good. Other dim sum are fine.

The food was nice - they offered quite a range of dim sum. The outdoor area was fine - lots of interesting decors. The staff stayed mostly in the indoor area though.

Everything we got was delicious. The fried eggplant was wonderful. Also enjoyed the honey walnut shrimp, green beans and seaweed salad. The Shani were huge. And tasty.

Buns were undercooked/super pasty and they wrapped sticky rice in plastic paper inside the tea leaf, defeating the purpose and perhaps inadvertently inventing a clever new microplastic delivery system.

Super buggy ordering system resulted in double orders of everything. We tried to address it when they brought food; but they simply dumped everything and played stupid showing us their printout for the item quantities. When we tried to explain and address when they gave us the bill they pretended to not speak English well enough to fix it.

Never again

Avoid if you haven’t mastered conversational mandarin.

Staff there are terrible. I went out to eat with my colleagues and some staff couldn’t speak English well so I was translating a bit. I was speaking Chinese to one of the waiters, a middle aged dude with beijing mandarin accent, he gave us a dish and later came back saying it was the wrong dish. I said oh I thought it was the wrong dish too. He said I don’t see you object literally twice. being all sarcastic. :) Absolutely terrible. Also the food isn’t even good. It’s def not authentic dim sum lol.

One of the best dim sum places! Good price, generous portions, and fresh ingredients that are freshly made. Highly recommend any of their baked or deep fried things like the shrimp roll and Chinese donut. I think they have the freshest best tasting Chinese donut in comparison to elsewhere. Their jumbo shrimp and pork sui mai is so fresh it tastes like they just made it there and then for order. I've been a few times and never disappointed.
