Remember when $20 got you a good meal? Well, Matsui to the rescue! The Manager's Special you get sushi, assorted tempura, a bowl of soba (or udon) and a side salad. All for $18? I mean it's a legit-ly good meal!

Matsui is my favorite lunch and dinner spot! The food is always amazing, and the prices are just as good. I love their combos — I’ve tried most of them by now, and they’re all so good. My favorite lately has been the soba and sushi combo. Try their eel too!

The service is always consistent, and the food is always consistent too, which I really appreciate. Everything is fresh, tasty, and just hits the spot every single time. Highly recommend if you’re craving sushi, noodles, or both!

I've tried a lot of Japanese food and saw this restaurant and went in. It's small, cheap, and delicious. It exceeded my expectations..😋

Had the manager special and it was delicious. The tempura was airy and crispy, not dense. Udon broth was not sweet and pleasing, al dente udon. The sushi was good. The salad was excellent. Good value and healthy meal. I'll definitely come back. Food came quick and service was fast.

I got the beef bowl and the meat was very flavorful almost close to the sweetness of teriyaki but not as strong.

Small, cozy, aesthetic interior.
Food was OK: nabeyaki udon good, zaru soba tough and just not refreshing, side of fried mushrooms was good, softshell crab flavor was questionable (maybe not fresh) & salad good, takoyaki was ooewy-gooey yummy but only one person liked it, okonomiyake was basically a pancake, not at all the noodle version--would not order again.
Service good.
The most popular is $17.75 manager's special, seemed 80-90% of patrons ordered it. Great combo.

The oyaku-don was good but the hot udon wasn't that hot. Tempura was light and crispy

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday and had a good experience. For the price, the portions are generous and satisfying. Service was fast and the staff were friendly throughout.

I ordered the beef combination plate and enjoyed it. The flavors were solid and what I was hoping for. It’s a good spot to grab a quick sit-down lunch with a coworker.

Great manager special lunch value. Sushi ngiri was excellent. Miso was better than sabo and udon soups.
